Hi guys, I'll tell you something, Aconcagua is not only the highest mountain in America, but also in Europe, Africa, Oceania and Antarctica.

The views on the trans andean highway is just breathtaking! I’ve never heard of that Inca bridge, it’s so cool! Your mic did so well in the wind 😅 How annoying is the process of buying tickets to get into the park, and all the checkpoints 🤦🏻♀️ I suppose it’s all part of being a traveler 🙈😅 Seems like it paid off…those mountains are just incredible!! Love your drone shots 🤩 I’d love to drive that route. Your shot at the end, of the road snaking down is so cool!

It’s a beautiful road, one of the most breathtaking but unfortunately very frustrating to drive along too, so much time wasting for no reason at all other than crazy politics 😒

That park looked so beautiful. Very interesting landscape and scenery there. That was such an odd way of getting your tickets... so inefficient and unnecessary! What a pain, but thanks for sharing the real experiences. The market area seemed like a nice spot - but the roads certainly are bumpy!

It's definitely a quirk of travelling in this part of the world, things are often convoluted especially where entry tickets are involved.

The scenery here is incredible to see 😍 although the process to access/pay for the park is quite odd. This tip will be very helpful to those visiting in the future. Wow it was windy, I am impressed your gear was able to pick up your voices so well! Great adventure you two ❤️

It’s a strange way of doing things but we’re actually finding more places out in nature in SA that work in a similar way, we still get caught out too, after driving for hours to see a place it’s a shock to be told you can’t buy tickets to see it. We were so glad the footage came out ok, we didn’t think it would be useable with so much wind, thankful for our little dead cat!

Wow looks like you saw some quite spectacular & dramatic scenery. Pity booking & Payment is such a polava! They must loose a huge amount of business with that system in place!?! Great you had time & got to see so much anyway!

It’s definitely a quirk but the drive and hike were beautiful!
@LucasWorldTravel2 жыл бұрын
Wow, this looks like a gorgeous drive despite the lengthy check points. So why exactly is it so intense on the Chilean border? Glad you got at least one beautiful hike in. Did you ever make it back to the park with the complicated payment system?
@TideKnotTravellers2 жыл бұрын
There’s a lot of political issues between the two countries so these roads become a little less free to drive around, this isn’t the first time we’ve been unable to visit a sight due to border issues (despite not actually trying to cross a border😅) we got straight into the park for the hike it was just strange that we then had to make payment the next day back in the city rather than just buy tickets there at the gate.

Te explico en español : Desde aquí , se tiene acceso al Aconcagua ,y tienen que tener una lista de todo el que accede , ya que el mejor sendero para escalar la montaña es por este lugar, por si no vuelve a salir y hay que declararl la emergencia .
@TideKnotTravellers2 жыл бұрын
el registro tiene sentido, pero lo que nos confundió fue que el pago tuvo que realizarse en la ciudad en lugar de poder pagar solo al ingresar.
@jucovico3472 жыл бұрын
Gracias .

Even though it feels touristy, the sceneries are spectacular and breathtaking so seems like worth to visit! Interesting that you can reserve the tix online and pay in person later, it must be tough for those who don't have access to data usage. The checkpoints and mountain views reminded me of Sinai peninsula in Egypt!

que va a ser una verguenza? es lindo la cuestion que no te dejan ir hasta el puente y queda lejos. deberian hacer un acceso, poner una tirolesa o algo para hacer, ja.
