Thank you and the Brite Green I made myself... I mixed 3 parts Lemon Yellow with 1 part Turquoise and you get Brite Green... add more Yellow and it gets even lighter or brighter ✌🏻💚

Thank you for all the educational videos. I’m trying to figure out how to modify a V fold to create a capital “V”. It for a Minnesota Vikings fan. Any ideas for to do that?

You are welcome, I love to help others have fun and success with this art... as for a V ... here is my 'Letters' Playlist where I demo how I fold letters with a 'Raised Pleat' and the V is in there ... this way you can just put a V on the chest of the tee instead of making the V the whole tee BUT, in looking up the V for the Minnesota Vikings, it is not symmetrical, so if you decide you want a Minnesota Vikings V, then you can stitch it to get the detail, here is how I do stitch Dyeing : kzbin.info/aero/PLMEtBqB2BzuqTQ-6ymm5OcVb5jlv7oplr one thing to note if you stitch the whole tee, if you turn the tee inside out to do the stitching, then make sure to reverse the V or it will be backwards on the front side of the tee... and no matter what, if the V is correct on the front, then the V will be backwards on the back side of the tee ... I hope one of these help you creat the tee that you want... have fun and if you have other questions, ask a new question rather than reply to this one as I do not see replies in the same way ✌🏻

Thank you .... and yes this can be done on a hoodie, but it will be more difficult as the thickness of the fabric makes folding and dyeing more difficult ... you just have to be patient with your dyeing process and open the creases to check your dye saturation

Where did you get that long sleeve shirt and what kind of 100% cotton was it... and how did you mixed it with lite green.

I buy my tees wholesale from sanmar.com and it is probably a Gildan Ultra tee as that is the brand I work with mostly... the black tees tend to be Port & Company now ... and the Brite Green, I made using 3 part Lemon Yellow and mix in 1 part of Turquoise ✌🏻

in this video I am using Kite string as I just want to hold the design together... I use Kite string instead of Rubberbands ... Hey, I've got a question for you. I wash my shirts in the sythrapol then dye them with dharma dyes . I'm having a hard time keeping my colors vibrant. They seem to get "heathered" quickly after 1 or 2 washes. How do I stop this??

How strong do you mix your soda ash?? ..... I use one cup to one gallon and soak for 20 minutes. How strong do you mix your dyes?? ....... I list the minimum amount of dye in my video, but I use bout 6 tsp for 16 oz of dye for most colors and twice that for my black dyes How long do you batch your tees for?? .......... 24 hours is my bare minimum, but I leave most of mine for 48 hours as that give the dyes more time to bond what is the temp you batch at? ......... I batch mine at a minimum of 70 F, but I stack my tubs next to a heater vent in the winter so they get some extra heat, enough to put condensation on the lid of the tub. if it is too cold, then the dyes do not bond properly and of course you are dyeing 100% cotton right??

Would this work well for a hoodie since you are turning it inside out?

This could be a little more difficult on a hoodie due to the thickness of the fabric, and for hoodies, I dye them right side out as they tend to have a fuzzy lining that is poly so it would be more difficult to open the cracks to look for white spots .... but with that being said.... if you do try on a hoodie, I would still tuck one sleeve into the other and I would probably tie it damp and then let it dry for a day or so ad then dye and just make sure to open the folds to check for your dye saturation... on the DNA part, you want your dyes to go in about half way from the top and then from the bottom ... have fun and I wish you success!!
