Once again Trena, you have saved the life of that wood to keep it alive for yet other generations to love and cherish. Your work is over the top impeccable. Absolutely unbelievable the talent and education you have gleamed from your father and other studies. I love how you cherish the beauty and truly love the history of it all. I so enjoy coming here and watch you work your magic on what seems hopeless wood pieces. This is another gorgeous piece of work. Thank you for sharing your gifts of talent and actually educating us and inspiring us. Blessings to you and your family there. Excited for your building to be completed and you getting into your new workspace. Patience is a virtue, and you all have certainly proved that!

Lol!!!😆).I found myself finishing for you ("What the Sam Hill!" etc.) Also, the mauve sound do used to.pull your hair back is a very pretty color on you. Now finally, the furniture ... You, my dear, are an artist, A magician, and all of that! It is a beautiful transformation that pays a wonderful respect to the artisan(s) who created it. Hello Trena once again a masterful renovation of a grand old piece. My guess on it being veneer rather than print caused you a lot more work but in the end it has a new glow. I like your box of veneer bits it reminds me of those mechanics who have assortment of old bolt and screws. I just wondered if this was a signed piece, and finally it's so nice to see originality maintained as there are so many flippers on here who cover beautiful wood with paint. Well done Trena hope you get the heater working soon.🙂👍🌻🧡

1/27/25..fantastic renovation of Wave Front Tiger Oak veneer top with same Wave 'flow' in top drawer...but plain smooth front face on bottom drawer. This complicated multiple wood, non- rectangular top, busted interior drawer slides & triangular supports...+ big Mirror with reflective material flaking/missing....man-o-man Trena, this project was loaded with every kind of problem possible...but you, shop dog, Classical Music & your craftsmanship...transformed this 'raggity' dresser into a Factory New fantastic looking piece of art! Another great job! A+ ✅️👍👍👍🍷😊

Oh wow! I have my grandparents Silvertone record player that is, perhaps the same vintage as this dresser. The top is tiger oak veneer. I just dusted, cleaned & lightly sanded it, then protected it with Howard Clean & Wax. It has the same kind of blemish that you used the blade on! I thought it was a water stain, and didn’t really know what else to do with the blemish, as it’s so small. Now I do! Another fantastic restoration, Trena!

So glad I watched this video. I just started refinishing a QS oak dresser that is my fun friend's. She had graciously allowed me to use it for many years and now it's time to repair it, refurbish it, and return it to is rightful owner. I am pleased to hear you say you don't care for drawer stops and prefer wood blocks in the back to stop the drawers. I now plan to do that, along with adding glue blocks for added support. I'm also replacing the mortise locks and key hole pieces since many were missing. Thank you for the inspiration! I have a tremendous amount of veneer work to do in the top and am considering replacing it altogether since it is so badly damaged. But I will assess that when I get to that. Thank you again! Your repairs and restoration work is always impeccable!
