sociopathies and psychopathies are literally about how the inner-workings of the brain are - amongst a lot of other things - either severely impaired in empathy, or lacks it entirely, and depending on what it is specifically then it also includes other complicated differences in how the brain works and develops. So what you see as normal, is something a person with a brain like that would never be able to understand. I'm not saying it excuses anything, and dangers to society needs to be kept away from society, but not even understanding why it happens will only spread superstitions; there are also those who are still able to function in society, because their affected level still makes it possible for them to do so.

Unfortunately when a child is subjected to such violence at such an incredibly young age, they can end up having shaken baby syndrome, brain bleeding and traumatic brain injury which can cause lifelong disabilities
@Freya1412
@Freya1412 6 күн бұрын
I also hope that too but I just watched the footage of what the nanny did and it's so violent. I don't think that child got away without long term damage. I don't want to criticise the mom and dad but I have to ask where were the parents at this time? Okay dad may have been working. Mom was in the house recovering. She didn't hear the way her child was screaming? My maternal instinct kicked in hearing that baby screaming. It was not a normal cry. It was a very distressing screaming that came from the baby. I had major complications when my first child was born but I swear it didn't matter what meds I was on to help with pain and sleep if my child cried I was awake and getting to the nursery. I'm so confused. Maybe one incident could have been missed but so many times... I'm not against getting a nanny. I think the concept of confinement nanny's are amazing. However you have to be vigilant because this is a stranger. No matter how well they are vetted, it's still a stranger.

The parents hid their identities which will be harder for them to seek justice since I hardly have heard of any other information about this case and I live in CA. The parents need to speak out more especially if the lady comes back and I do think she will but to an area like the SGV in SoCal instead of the Bay Area… she needs to be locked up and snap and TT need to fire them and both need to be investigated for being possible accessories to a crime. The irony is that most ppl commenting about her giving her baby into someone else's care right after birth have used or will use a hospital to give birth in, and be fine with strangers handling their newborns. And if their babies are left in hospitals when they're sick, those same ppl will leave their children in the hospital alone while they go about their days. And that's not to say they're wrong if they would do that. I'm saying they're wrong because thats the same principal applied to this family. And they're around their child more than when u leave ur kid at the hospital. I empathize with the parents, because they didn't need to see the comments Shaming them in order for them to feel tremendous guilt and shame for what happened to their baby. They felt it the second they saw the first video. They will never forgive themselves. Every time their child is sick, or maybe even too uncomfortable, they will wonder if its a result of the trauma inflected on them as a newborn. Its so heartbrekaing to think they exposed a danger to children, to prevent further harm, and ppl want to attack them instead of the harmful perpetrator.

Yeah I just can't with these insensitive and not-so-bright people in the comments jumping to blaming the parents when they're literally watching a video made by someone laying out all the evidences of the crime in the right timeline lol Its easy for them to judge and say 'why couldn't you see that coming? Why didnt you do this right away?' Because when someone hides evil and is dedicated in lying to someone, its actually easy to get fooled cause non-evil people don't expect evil things like that to happen usually. Like seriously enough with the victim blaming if you don't know what the situation was like. They trusted them and they were back stabbed by the daughter and mother.

As someone who was a shaken baby at 10 months and has had my right side partially paralyzed as a result for the last 39 years, I'm not even going to attempt to watch it. I am also in a rage just listening to this, and all my babysitter did was angrily shake me until I was unconscious, and that was at 10 MONTHS. I can't even begin to imagine what being thrown like a football at less than 10 DAYS would potentially do to a human being. While I too want this person brought to justice, I even more just want to say that the true victim here is the child. He/she didn't ask to be born, didn't ask to be abused, didn't ask for any of this - not that it would be okay even if they had. This woman may have given a newborn a LIFE SENTENCE, and the worst part of it is, speaking from experience, that we as a nation, as a world are completely inadequate when it comes to helping this newborn live. We don't take mental health seriously. Bullying is far too prevalent and all encompassing, and as bad as it was for me, a white kid in the 80s/90s, it'll be so much worse for ethnic minorities now. And the government has a massive problem with trying to fund social services. My heart goes out to baby H, may he/she at least have the loving parents that I did to help raise me right.

I was mistreated by my nanny in Zimbabwe when i was 4 months old, back then there was no nanny cams but it was clear that something was wrong when my parents ( a pediatrician Pakistani and a dermatologist Egyptian helping with the many disease victims at the time) kept coming back home to me injured, mind you i was a very calm child who barely ever cried, they found some of her hair tied around my fingers and neck to the point of turning my finger blue and leaving cuts on my neck, she also neglected to change my diaper until I got sever rashes and ate my food on more than 10 occasions, luckily my parents got her arrested before she injected me with H-IV infected needle ( yes it was her blood she was infact hiv positive), my parents never hired a nanny after that and moved out of the country shortly after, so i can barely imagine from what my parents told me, the shock and horror the parents in this case went through watching this happen to their fragile infant. My heart truly breaks for them! I hope justice prevails

Knowing that truly evil people exist is an undeniable reality. HOWEVER, the fact that the parents were so attentive to their child that they noticed something off about the “nanny” within just a few days and took appropriate action accordingly speaks volumes about their care and dedication. It should not be seen as their fault, nor should they feel guilty. Hope the family will live lovely and peacefully without trauma.

Humans naturally lived closely with their extended families who contributed to child rearing responsibilities, it was never meant to be this modern individualistic setup where every man is for himself.The females of the wider family ( grandmother, mother, aunts) would support each other with all other duties including cooking, cleaning, growing food etc . Instead, modern society has removed the natural close family ties and substituted them with complete strangers who act as caregivers who dont actually care or love the child.
@LolaClark86
@LolaClark86 6 күн бұрын
And thats a sad thought. It seems all companies want you to put your family on the back burner and prioritize work. But who can you ideally trust to watch your child safely?!? Literally NOONE, family is the #1 abuser of children, daycare is all about the cash and theres horror stories everywhere about daycare facilities so that's out the window. Thats why it's so important to pick your partner carefully especially if pregnancy is an option. It really takes 2 incomes to live nowadays. So you need 1 bread winner parent and 1 part time work parent, the P.T parent finds work on opposite shift as B.W parent. It sucks but until your child is old enough to vocalize issues or go to school. Then Part timer can go back to full time if desired. I know parents that do this and its successful. Again we shouldn't have to worry about our children being abused but unfortunately that's the world we live in.

Minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. If you work 40 hours a week for 12 months, you only make $13,920 for the year. Minus taxes. $10k a month is nowhere near even the median. If you can make $10k a month, that means that if you are booked year round she couldve made $120,000 a year for abusing a baby. So no. It is enough. That was a stupid excuse she made because she wanted to beat babys.

So, we can better protect ourselves and others. Learn to identify red flags. I watch so I can notice red flags that I may otherwise be too naive to notice. Their stories need to be told. I don’t work for Tik Tok but as someone in the HR field and in a major city, I can almost guarantee you she was NOT making $200-300k as you mentioned. Those are some executive level salaries and as a Lead, she was definitely not close to that. If she was really good at her job, knowing the location, her contacts and the company, I’d say she could’ve been making $150k tops, most likely less. Not that thats a bad salary by any means, just wanted to point it out. Her partner was probably the one truly supporting them all. This aside… WTF?!?! This is crazy!!! I hope that criminal gets the justice she deserves, and may the innocent angel never develop anything as a result. Idk how someone can do this to any child, I mean days old! Days!! My heart hurts 🥺

I can't even begin to express the visceral reaction I had to that security cam footage. I knew it would be difficult to watch, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality of seeing that innocent little infant being hurt. I had to turn it off after just a few seconds; the baby's screams were absolutely heartbreaking and physically sickening. The rage, disgust, and overwhelming sadness I was feeling all at once was unbearable. My heart aches for those poor parents. I can’t even imagine the gut-wrenching guilt and regret they must be experiencing, knowing they entrusted their precious child to such a monster. One thing I will never do is participate in victim-blaming these parents. Please believe the parents have scrutinized every detail a thousand times over. Our hindsight isn't offering them anything they haven't already considered themselves. Asking "How could they leave their baby with a stranger?" or "Why didn't they check the footage sooner?" But those questions are not only unhelpful, they're deeply hurtful. What purpose does it serve to pile more pain and guilt onto parents who are already living through an unimaginable nightmare? Do you honestly think they aren't already agonizing over every single detail, replaying every moment in their minds? Hindsight is always 20/20, and no one can predict pure evil. They trusted someone they believed was qualified and caring, and that trust was brutally violated. Instead of judgment, these parents deserve some compassion.

That nanny and her daughter need to be not only held accountable, but be punished by law. There are just some crimes that should transcend the extradition treaties existence. Also, anytime anyone speaks for children and it goes against the parents slightly, they become so bad in the internet's eyes and comments like "speak to the echo chambers of their minds" and whatnot surfaces. I have seen many first time parents, recovering from difficult child birth, stressed to the point of depression, and none of them were so ignorant about their children. Even with help from the closest relatives being available, first time parents are usually so protective, so hyper aware.

the sad true is that shaking a baby like the first thing the saw would not even be taken up by the police if their wasn't any damage physically to the baby. And I assume they wanted to call the second mom to try to get her to join them to the police. But then they found out it was the daughter.

In a lot of immigrant communities even those with citizenship and permanent residency, calling the cops for things isn’t usually their first thought some times. My husband who was born here has his mind blown when I told him his family needs to call the cops when they have a break in and not call Him. They would always call my husband and not the cops at all.

@@loona7740 …I guarantee that if you call the police and show them a video of your nanny shaking a newborn, that Nanny will have major explaining to do. We should definitely, definitely do better by postpartum mothers; maternity leave is a joke, and postpartum care is next to non-existent. But I would have lost my freaking mind staying indoors for 30 days, only eating hot foods (my daughter was born in August) and not showering. That sounds truly awful.

I'm glad to see you cover this subject. I know of so many cameras we have public access to: traffic cams, parks , universities. I enjoy looking at the gardens of my home state university through this, it's awesome. And then there is the dark side. I always have my laptop camera covered & the one at work facing the wall unless im using them. There is also this sad aspect - so many security cameras just go to a video bank, are not monitored, only used as a resource in the event of an issue. & ps - our phones ARE listening

My baby nephew is the most gentle, helpless, and adorable little creature I've ever seen, I don't know how I'd react if I saw that (besides putting her 6 ft under). I want to send so so so much love and healing to the family and since I haven't finished the video yet I can only hope that sweet baby survived ❤ children are precious and need to be protected

If I was the parents of Baby H, I’d never let this go. They have enough documented proof that the daughter , and son-in-law helped to enable the abuse by facilitating employment for the abuser. The daughter knew what type of person her mom was, and helped her obtain employment through lies and deception. Not to mention, the mother wasn’t supposed to be working while in the U.S.. Another reason to sue is because any cognitive damage that Baby H might suffer won’t reveal itself until later. She could suffer permanent damage. 😢😢😢

look, i don't believe that kids of criminals should suffer concequences as well, just for being related to the bad person, but the daughter and her husband knew exactly what the mother was doing, especially if it wasn't her first job as a nanny. also looking at the posts the daughter "allegedly" made about the victims make me think that she's the same as her mother.

If i was those parent i dont know if my normal override thought of can't be a present parent from jail would be able to prevent the nanny from going missing, where she won't be hurting anybody else's babies
