Just be fit and healthy according to accepted guidelines like those from the NHS and you will rock the world's socks off 🎉💓 Edit: if anyone reading this happens to actually be a teenage girl that's barely hit puberty, then that's obvs beaut too 😘 Edit 2.0: I'm still trying to reach my goal of best healthy self myself, but #goals

im confused to whats wrong with "barely hit puberty"? Im a teen girl and how does puberty have anything to do with body image and fitness? Please let me know!
@t.e.e.e36023 жыл бұрын
@@Star-mn7gr Nothing wrong with being that age! I think this is more a comment about how products are marketed to everyone. Sometimes people judge adult bodies against the bodies of young teens without acknowledging that the proportions of someone still growing/filling out are different from someone who is done growing. When apps/products use young teen bodies to promote their products to everyone, they create the illusion that this type of body is obtainable for everyone, when for many people hormones change your proportions so drastically that returning to that 'barely hit puberty stage' (where you are growing taller and still just filling out into your adult proportions) is impossible. It also can create body image issues when someone who had the 'right' proportions as a teen can't maintain those proportions as an adult, but believes they should be able to.

Hello natacha, Im not sure if you’ll see this but I just wanted to thank you for genuinely saving me so many years. I’ve been struggling with orthorexia /anorexia restricting + extreme daily exercise while eating about 700-1000cals per day. It came to a point where it didn’t matter what anyone told me, I would’ve continued eating this way and exercising this way. When I first saw your video about calories, or any video of yours I felt something I’ve never felt before, genuinely the feeling I deserve to eat. It took me awhile to actually eat more but I still kept watching your videos and informing myself how the body works is these types situations. This all happened from ages 12-13. When my body started to maintain weight at these low numbers I knew I had to eat more. I jumped to an higher amount directly and I’m currently still in an reverse diet and am finally able to reach my fitness goals and focus on performance. Thank you lots, Stay safe!

The period blood as a facemask thing actually does have its roots in Filipino old wive's tales. We are taught that upon getting our first period that we should use our blood as a face mask so we don't experience acne in our teenage years. We're also taught to jump down three flights of stairs so that our period would only last for 3 days. Eventually Gen X took the period blood face mask and changed it slightly to use the soap suds from the bar that you used to wash your first period stained panties and wash your face with those suds to prevent acne. Filipino Pamahiin culture is wild.

Natacha! THANK YOU so much for continuing to be such an INSPIRATION! You truly are one of the best on KZbin: promoting a STRONG and HEALTHY lifestyle free of restriction and full of LIFE. I cannot thank you enough for always acting as a role model for me as I go through ED recovery. Take care. ❤️💪☺️

I think the flat ab guy that recommended you was hilarious. What he said (don't chew gum, don't drink water during meals, dont eat before bed) are all ways to help acid reflux/Gerd.... Because they cause bloating or reflux! So yeah your stomach will look smaller because... You're actually not bloating. But has nothing to do with losing fat lol. But then he said drink lemon juice.... And that would not work for Gerd hahah

That lady running on the treadmill and lifting weights towards the end had such good form!! When I do deadlifts I always find myself rounding my back a bit-watching her lift actually is helpful to know what good form looks like

It is pretty scary what some people put out there. Especially as so many of the users of platforms like TikTok are young and impressionable and will be led into doing what they say/buying what they are promoting, yet not get anything out of it, apart from wasting their time and an emptier bank balance.

I tried the stomach one because I was just curious and honestly it was kind of hard to lay there. If anything maybe it helped correct my posture a little bit which felt nice... I can see that making it “seem” like your stomach is flatter... if you are just standing better

literally got the notification that you posted this video in the middle of doing a Home: Reload workout hahah but so glad you posted this, before i started watching your channel i used to believe a lot of the “fitness and health” information that showed up on my for you page. i wasted so much time doing “fitness hacks” in hopes of seeing quick results. forever grateful for your channel and your videos that use ACTUAL science, the health/fitness world is a better place with you in it (at least for me) ❤️🥰
@natachaoceane3 жыл бұрын
you're really not alone Siena, I wasted years doing some of these 'hacks'. The sad truth is that I would have gotten my results a lot quicker if I hadn't wasted years trying hacks that don't even work... haha at least I can share my experience to help others learn from my past mistakes! All my love xxx
