I really hope people get tired of TikTok’s crap and stop giving them their money. I wish we could see a shift where people are more thoughtful and intentional about what businesses they choose to support. In the early 00s, I bought some flare trouser and crop top set which said "it wasn't me" when Shaggys song was the most listened to song of the time. I was probably 10 or 11.... And I consider my parents to be quite strict. Looking back it just seems wierd.

I always wondered if there was any blowback from Simply Nailogical's "holosexual" shirts given her young female audience. I wouldn't wear it as an adult woman, much less let a minor wear it.

Lol this brings up an old memory, my mom had bought a shirt for me that said hey I'm up here with a hand pointing up at my face. She bought it because I'd just hit a major growth spurt (I'm over 6 ft tall) and I had to explain the "dirty" meaning to it referencing men looking at my boobs😂😂😂 honestly some parents just have that blessing of innocence about them and think others are as well. She's so sweet❤😂 we definitely had many good laughs over it😅

I remember when playboy made kids clothing, and I think it was H&M that made G-strings and bra's for little kids around the age of 8 years old. 🤮🤯 It was happening in the late 90s

KZbin is a social media platform. And it also has plenty of ads for bad/weird products. Each platform has its good and bad, it just depends how you use it (and how good the platform is at moderating content)

As an Etsy seller, I heartily agree. Etsy was bought up, and completely changed so there's so much print on demand and stuff that you can find on wish. It's sooo difficult for someone like me who make one of a kind stuff. It's obviously now for people who make a listing and can sell hundreds of that one thing, the entire process is not for one of a kind. To make original stuf with all the time, expense, and energy that takes, take all the pictures and edit, spend a lot of time writing the description and the tags, and everything else, only to see these badly photoshopped things being promoted on the site is depressing.

This is so obviously a case of pumping out items without any thought or understanding. Just like in the US in the 90s there were shirts everywhere with Chinese symbols that meant nothing to consumers but might have (sometimes were) expletives or other inappropriate wording that we just didn’t understand. I don’t think there’s any malicious intent here. Still glad it’s been reported & taken down ofc. It’s gross regardless.

Remember seeing lots of bad and shady english children shirts in korea. I still remember the ones with cute bambi-like deers and horses, and and "horny pony" written on it 🙈🙈🙈🙈

This absolutely reminds me of that hawk tuah girl and how popular everybody’s made her now!! She’s treated like a legitimate celebrity and talked about when arriving places, with merch and hanging out with big-named celebrities…her 15mins is being soooooo drawn out!! Meanwhile, because she’s EVERYWHERE I’m turning into one of those older ladies who clutches her pearls while horrifyingly asking “But what about the children?? *Will somebody PLEASE think of the children?* “

This reminds me of a Calvin Kline romper I saw in a department store with the sides cut off showing off the hips. This was made specifically for a toddler. Why would they think that showing off their skin is ok?!

I went into Ulta yesterday to shop and there was a mom with her 2 young 8 year old daughters and they had “bralettes” and the tinniest yoga shorts on I’ve ever seen in a little girl 😶 TRIPLE looked at them and the mom wanting to soooo bad go say something to the mom because I would’ve NEVER let my small daughter walk out of the house like that! 🙄 And to make it worse, the young girls were picking out the Ordinary skincare what they should NOT be putting on there skin! 🤦🏻♀️

So have you ever seen those videos where that guy goes around in China,or Japan and asks people walking around with absolutely terrible American phrases and words on their shirts, and asks them if they know what it means? And not one of them do and when he translates it and they are horrified! I wonder if that is what is happeming to

Honestly, this is likely a Chinese seller based in china. It’s true that other countries that aren’t native in English will at least check what these things mean but in Asia, we don’t care 😭 that’s why you’ll see a lot of Asians, especially in china, with off brand things using brand logos but with weird ass mottos/wrong logo design, because they don’t actually check nor care and it’s very much as Robert said; what’s popular and trending is what is going to be produced. They likely know the words individually but have no idea what it means when someone says something as suggestive as “I look better bent over” and like I said, most us Asians in Asia just don’t care enough to check before selling. I feel like it’s ignorance but in such a terrible time and place, ESPECIALLY since they’re aiming these things at KIDS, they should do the bare minimum and use translators before shipping out these low quality things because some of these slogans are pure disgusting

@StarShine-xb5ggАй бұрын
A few years ago, a couple donated a bunch of baby clothes to our little boy when he was first born (they were all new) One of the shirts said "cutest tax deduction" Still can't believe that a parent would even think about buying something like that. I used it for cleaning since i didn't want it to go to waste.

Using “Expensive and Difficult” to describe a child sounds like an issue created by the parents to me. Does your kid run your life?! Sheesh!
@nilawarriorprincessАй бұрын
I love how you give everyone the benefit of doubt. I have tried to learn other languages & know how common sayings don't make sense to new speakers. Just because an English speaker understands how shocking & appalling "I look better bent over" is. Doesn't mean people who understand a bit of English could understand that content. As a teenager & English native I wouldn't have understood the context without my mother being candid enough to spell it out. Learning another language is difficult because of the subtext native speakers take for granted. I always appreciate the way you let me think deeper.
