I used to be a couponer. But there’s a difference between a “couponer” and an “extreme couponer”. I used to buy what my family needed and could use. Occasionally there would be things leftover that I knew we couldn’t use in time so I donated. Sadly though because of extreme couponers, it’s become more and more difficult to coupon. @@izakdelacruz5873 I’d argue that we all lose, because not only will there be the energy of the products produced, transported, and ultimately wasted once they are past their use by date, the loss to the corporations will just be passed onto the other shoppers. Plus, the empty shelves means that other people might not be able to purchase what they actually need. Companies don’t lose money by this - they just make up the difference by charging other people. Personally I think what she’s doing IS clever, and I do applaud the spirit of it. I just hope that she donates the products her family and friends don’t use to charity.
