I really don’t think they are. He has as much skill as he needs. Beterbievs power really is his biggest asset. To the point where it changes fighters game plans once he starts landing. Without his power, Bivol takes the fight with ease imo. But bivol might not be able to fight like normal or be able to throw the same volume because any counter from beterbiev can cause damage. It’s hard for me to call this fight because it basically depends on how Bivol reacts to the power.

I feel like Gvozdyk’s strategy wasn’t in his wheel house hence why he struggled, plus I don’t think he was as tight and sharp as bivol 24/7. Bivol is always on, Gvozdyk had word class moments and other times had lapses (like Jerrell charlo). Perimeter boxing, move and reset, tying up is like Bivols bread and butter.

The question I have for Tim and Sean is, how does Beterbiev deal with that? Does he block? Does he move? Does he use his jab to beat him to the punch? If he takes that away I think he wins. If he can't effectively deal with that and starts getting lit up it may be Bivol's night.

He will throw in between of that. The second bivol throws a bunch of punches and it doesn’t effect beterbiev, it’s going to be a long night for him. Bivol will need to earn some kind of respect or he will get walked down and stopped

Ppl treat Beterbiev as an up and coming fighter yet he’s P4P ranked no.1 in the LHW division and has fought serious contenders. Gvoznyk, Callum x2, Joe Smith, Yarde all came with similar plans, knew the same issues. BBV will take punches to the face just to get on the inside and Bivol hasn’t knocked anyone out in 9 of his last 10 fights. Fortune favours the brave and BBv will take the head shots to get Bivol into the Lions den.

Basic physics applies here. you have to be set and planted to punch with power. If that process is interupted you have to step back and reset. Arthur will not be able to land effectively in the early rounds because of Bivols movbement. It;s similar to the first Leonard Hearns fight. Tommy had to to park his punching power and revert to his boxing skills. This may be the same suprising scenario. would be a more interesting fight if that happens .

Iv'e got Bivol. He's fought the better opps, doesn't walk on to punches, stays off the ropes and is a consummate professional in and out of the ring. Beterbiev is a great fighter also and uses quick short range accurate punches, quick foot movement with a shorter stance. I'm just not keen on the back of the head punches Beterbiev has used in a number of his KO'S, their illegal for a reason. What a fight though, cant wait.
