I miss the old playground that they took down in a park near my house- all the good memories gone, even if it was old-fashioned. It was made of all wood and metal, and the "terror go-round" was my favorite part!

XD I lost my two front teeth on the "terror-go-round" in second grade! back where I grew up we called the teeter-totter a "see-saw." in primary school we had a big metal set with wooden seats and one kid would stand on one end then a few others would push down on the other end and see if the person made all the way up then they would jump off. haha, that's a real playground :)

The metal slides are killer. We used to have one on the side of a big hill at a public park. People would get rugs and slide down at 10 plus mph and a kid got his finger cut of on the edge of one of the metal pieces. They replaced it with a hard plastic slide and people still broke arms and legs. So now we have no big slide left.
