He's a dumbass for dumbasses. “Science adjusts its views based on what's observed Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved.― Tim Minchin Tim does not know what biblical faith is because he just does not care to know but he'd rather fart out lies. Biblically, faith means trust. It's a trust by evidence seen. God asks that we prove things. To reason. To get knowledge. To study. God has nothing to hide. We develop trust from what is seen, and that which is not seen yet is trusted also because of the trust built up from what is seen. It's much like a human relationship. We don't trust much until a person has gained that trust from what is observed. The difference is though, God is not limited to human powers. He created us. Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. His opening of "Science adjusts its views based on what's observed" Tim is a liar. He believes his god of nothing did miracles naturally with nothing as proof it could. He cares NOTHING about what is observed. What a hypocrite! His god claims to have given us the universe, fine-tuning of the universe for life, life from non-life, information for life before and after it began, the laws of nature, etc, etc, when we know that your god of nothing can do nothing. His god of nothing has nothing to offer and its followers only offer nothing of evidence for their god of nothing. That makes him nothing of importance but the followers of the god of nothing are so delusional that they think they do have something to offer to defend their god of nothing.

@@theobrown9986 to a certain extent, I sincerely agree with you. I'm all for anyone, including Tim to believe what they want. I have truly no issues with that, but where I take issue and take it seriously is when Tim or anyone else goes mouthing off what they believe and it's so wrong. Then on top of that he mocks God, he doesn't believe exists anyway. Hope I gave you a deeper reason why I have such a dislike for him and all like him. And as weird as it may sound, I'm harder on myself. Many years ago I vowed that I will only believe what the evidence shows. I had to make some very hard changes and it really put me in a position of being rejected from people I formally knew well. It's not a 'whoa is me' reaction I'm looking for, just an honest statement.

And here's what you consider science that answered how we naturally got the universe, fine-tuning of the universe for life, life from non-life, information for life before and after it began, the laws of nature, etc, etc, ... "There is no difference between arrogance and your biblical faith aside for differences related to cultural acceptance. The Bible is a multiple times over proven work of fiction, it even proves itself false through contradictions that exceed the margin of error for the "Translation error" excuse." Dumbass, let's go with the first thing on my list, the creation of the universe. Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. Give your science (not word farts) how creation happened naturally and got around those laws. The bible says it happened supernaturally by a supernatural creator, God. You say though, "The Bible is a multiple times over proven work of fiction", so this will be very easy for you. Come on and stop rubbing your pussy, give your science. Give me a good laugh, you stupid clown.

@@2fast2block Arrogant much? The universe isn't fine tuned for anything, it's simply one of infinite dice rolls that happened to roll on a specific number, that's all. No actually there is no need for a point in time where absolutely nothing existed, funny someone who's so scientifically illiterate pretending to know so much, but hey that's how arrogance works and you glorify it under the label of faith. The world as we know it wasn't created, it occurred through natural processes that we've already uncovered quite a bit of information on. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, from proteins you follow RNA, from RNA you follow simple single celled organisms, and so on. If you have an infinite amount of time in existence with no true beginning necessary, then of course there is going to be life. Scientists have already synthesized amino acids, and from that they have also already synthesized RNA. Science has made real heady in figuring out how life sprung forth from natural processes, meanwhile the arrogance you call faith has done absolutely nothing for mankind, though I am sure you would like to pretend otherwise so go ahead and give your claim of others and I'll be happy to expose said delusion for you. The number of contradictions that have been counted in the Bible total 462, the number of conflicts with science and history that have officially been counted total 428, thus making the Bible a comically poorly written piece of fiction. While it has been proven time and time again that no Biblically compatible version of Jesus ever existed in a historical context, christianity stands only because of arrogance and the effects of minority stress that it inflicts outsiders. Morally speaking, christianity brought nothing new to the table, everything of Christianity that can even be considered good was already brought to the table by previous cults religions and mythologies, many of which the christianity movement went through great measures to destroy at the cost of many lives in the process, meanwhile you can see the imprint such left within the Bible's own texts where such religious imperialism is justified. You can claim things such as "Translation errors" all you want but that does not change the fact that the Bible's so called "Translation errors" often exceed the margin of error for translations across multiple languages. For example, the invention of the Jesus myths that include Nazareth are rather funny in that regard as Nazareth did not even exist until around 90 CE. Science knows it does not have all the answers, but it also has the ability to progress towards having the answers it lacks..... your arrogance has you thinking quite contrary there.

Have you always been so stupid or did you have a BAD head injury at some point? "Also this whole "god of nothing" side rant, atheism is the lack of belief, not the belief in nothing, he chooses not to believe," So, you wank off to your Tim porn who said, “Science adjusts its views based on what's observed Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved.".... ...but Tim does not believe what he claimed. No matter what Tim says, he does not believe. We KNOW these laws. We have NO doubts about them. We also KNOW that the laws of nature can't come about without a Lawgiver, God. To you those laws are "poetry, or metaphor, or allegory." Why do you live when you're goal is to be as stupid, worthless, useless, and waste of life? When you orgasm to your stupidity do you moan or scream at your climax?

Tim's suggestion that "faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved" was a clear nod to things such as the age of the universe which were commonly denied by many religious folk. If you've decided to accept the things we know so far, that's great for you- but that simply isn't the case for a large number of people. Atheism is the lack of belief in a god specifically (Which I assume Matthew left out as it seemed pretty obvious god is the subject of this topic), not a lack of belief itself.
