I think that Andrew Huss is literally the most brilliant self insertion into the homestuck universe that I have seen in all of media. We've all had those self insert characters or mary sues but huss is fucking briliant at how he does it, THOUGH this makes me scared. I think that this is TOO good, that it'll make a bandwagon of morons trying to be Andrew and failing because people don't realize that while there is a market for good self insert characters, We don't need another andrew huss.

Honestly I've made a self-insert once and it was for plot reasons. Why? Well...let's just say I love making complete mindfucks and well I am writing this series called something like Archives of Eternals, I am not sure yet how it's gonna be called, anyway this series is a very big mindfuck. In the fifth book, there will be revealed that the books are in fac really just..well, books. Like vene in the universe of the series, they are in a book. And my self-insert is the author of the books. She wasn't satisfied with her life, went through depression and shit and in the end decided to kill herself (no, I am not making this up for interesting backstory, this really happened to me in my life). But well in the books, she wished upon a star for the ability to go into her books, because she really wanted to live in there and the next day, when she opened her book and touched the pages, her hand just went through, into the fictional world. And that's kinda how my self insert got into the books. So yeah. Fun fact: Originally, she wasn't a self insert and she wasn't in the books, she was the main antagonist in a story poem series called Mind Circus. Well she's still the main antagonist but whatever...
