The power wall in the middle of the arcade is a good idea, that tidied things up nicely. Some absolutely stellar scores for R-Type Leo, was away a fair bit in January so didn't get a chance to have a go. As you know I love all things Time Pilot, and especially love TP 84, and it's a good excuse to get some of my boards working. My single board one works (most of the time), but with no sound, and I can visually see some things wrong with the other boards, so I will fix those issues and see how they come up. Finally tidied up the game room on the weekend, and now I can focus on getting my electronics repair and test bench in an appropriate state to work on some board fixes. Once I have a stable board for myself, happy to work something out with you for one of the others (I'm sure Richard will be better at fixing them than I am :)). I'll definitely have a go at this one, haven't played it as much as the original but still think it is a fantastic game and yes you need to find the secret targets to maximise your score before progressing levels.

Hearing Bomb Jack in the background is gaming audio gold to me. Hearing it from an actual PCB in an arcade environment is hugely nostalgic to me. I've always wanted a the original cabinet. Carry on with the good work and hopefully I'll be able to visit the Archive sometime this year.

To take part in the high score challenge you can use Mame, Nintendo switch, retro pi or any emulator as long as it’s arcade Roms not console. Dip settings difficultly level 3 or normal and bonus lives every 40k and 80k All scores must be submitted by the 6th March 6pm

'Athena ' Chippy is where I first played TP84 it stood alongside Elevator Action. To me it was the Future of Arcade gaming... way, way back in 83. I was terrible at it.

I remember being underwhelmed by TP'84 in the arcade as I played a hell of a lot of the original. But maybe I'll give it a go again... You should think about using percentages for scoring - top score gets 100pts and everyone gets a score based on the percentage of that score.......

Percentages sounds like more work for me Nick 😂 I think the game is fantastic but could do with more end of level boss variety, and why time pilot when your not travelling through time ? Oh well the sound effects are amazing and it’s a good game.

No they are all on the ground floor but it’s never flooded in it’s 300 year history. The river is quite low to the building and it’s never a worry. More worried about flash floods from the road if anything. Thanks for watching

I had a bunch of "smart" plugs and Zigbee and Z-wave stuff going here, but sooner or later most of it crapped out for one reason or another. The only exception is the Lutron stuff which just keeps working.

At my local arcade, we have a Time Pilot (regular) cocktail table. I recently fixed a Gyruss bootleg and put it in the table. Helps that the table has two speakers so I rigged it for Stereo. Now should I put Time Pilot back? (It still has the Time Pilot insert cards) I can't decide which of the two will stay in there... what do you guys think?

Looking forward to Time Pilot 84’, I’ve only ever played the original. Thanks for doing the high score challenges and sharing videos of the museum and it’s day to day running. I really appreciate the hard work and time you put in and the high score challenge gets me playing and discovering games more which is a great part of the hobby.
