Most countries don't have 15.4B to waste on attempting to colonizing the moon, they're too busy y'know spending that money on healthcare, maybe in 40 years because the USA effectively killed the planet with their CO2 emissions but by then it'll be pretty moot, no other developed nation will be able to catch up

@@Toothpaste34 the USA is alone in what? Yes the USA is alone as the only country spending billions on a "space force" something no other country can even afford, considering that 15.4B is only 0.021% of America's military spending, and sure the USA isn't the only country contributing to greenhouse gas emissions, but they're the only developed nation currently and actively ignoring it while attempting to colonize the moon

I am not US citizen but I can see US Space Force is not laughing matter. It is not about Star Trek imagination, not Flash Gordon fantasy. It is about in-situ resource utilization, mining asteroid to build space station and refueling stations so space vehicle can continue mission longer. It is about building new frontier, new human civilization, a space-colonialism. Check out my other comment here about Chelyabinsk meteor and weapon portrayed as Project Thor.

Roman generals belittled the importance of the naval theatre before its emphasis won them the Mediterranean, British Admirals scoffed at the aerial theatre before finding it a neccessity as a cost-effective & efficient method of reconnaissance/artillery observation in the first world war, Soviet air Marshals brushed-off the thought of unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the cold war just before they would become wide-spread use for quick & coordinated strikes without endangering skilled pilots. In each instance war was elevated and completely changed as well as the meta along with it. Now we're at the summit of the establishment of a fourth geological battlefield. It started with land, moved to the sea and then to the air but now its space. Lets also not forget that; it was through military expenditure and research that roads were invented to move troops faster, or military ship-building allowed the creation of bigger & faster boats that wouldn't fold inward by their sheer size, as well as planes went from flying a few miles per-hour to many times the speed of sound at unbelievable heights - through those same means of military development: space will see drastic change and improvement.

It will. Simply because it makes perfect sense. The only obstacle is rolls of red tape. Meaning, the enormous amount of seemingly "wasted time" encapsulating German missile warfare and rocket launching. More than a generation of life's work shot down for such a simple, but effective, idea. Like other great ideas, our money capitalizing takes it first. The only peaceful cure is to binge and purge (capitalizing) repeatedly until our children see that the other way makes more sense. Insensible governing (also a binge and purge trend). Fighting for the rights to make a dollar. With recent media attention of satellites falling to earth and failed launches, it's just a matter of time before the space elevator gains more popularity. Hopefully, Americans will make an amusement ride out of one!! I'd love to go on it 🙂

I hope that Britain, Canada and Australia can follow in the foot steps of America and create a Royal Space Force. People mock the US for its new force but at the end of the day it just as important as the sky or ground now. People laughed at the first pilots until WW1 when the Brits and Germans showed how vital the airforce is for combat. And now the US can prove how important space is.
@cammysmith7562
@cammysmith7562 3 жыл бұрын
Roger Wilco I mean that’s how new units have historically been founded. The first airforces were all part of the army before they were given a new name and uniform. Marines used to be a role on a ship rather than its own corps. The way you raise units in the military is by splitting them off of an already existing unit to better manage certain areas.
@cammysmith7562
@cammysmith7562 3 жыл бұрын
Roger Wilco we already have space rockets and satellites so I fail to see your point. The Navy and Army were the first branches so were founded from nothing. And to answer your question the US navy was around with no Ships. First US naval ships were built nearly 20 years after the founding of the US navy, prior to that the US navy mostly focused on Costal defence as many navies do to this day. The US airforce was not a thing until 1947, it was originally part of the Army but it made more sense to have a separate force to specialise in Arial warfare with its own name and uniforms. It makes sense to have a separate section dedicated to space. I don’t like Trump all that much but you would not be complaining if another president had founded the Space Force, the idea of the Force has been around for years. People laughed at the Idea of an Airforce when they first became a thing. Armies originally laughed at the idea of a tank being an effective weapon until it was proven to work. How about you go do some research on how vital space is as a military front, it’s just as important as the sky, land or sea which is why is has its own branch.
@cammysmith7562
@cammysmith7562 3 жыл бұрын
Roger Wilco I apologise for your apparent intellectual deficiency or you are just a strawman. Absolutely nowhere in that does it say that the US navy was created before the invention of ships. However it does say that the US navy existed without ships within it, other nations had ships as did private merchants but the navy was still waiting on the ones they ordered being built. You also ask for an Air Force that was created before the invention of the Plane which makes absolutely no sense and at this point you are just making a petty point. Because I’m not sure if you have been under a rock for the past 60 years or so but we already have things in Space in fact some people live in space on something called the international space station. We have satellites in fact we have over 2000 of them and growing massively. We have landed on the moon multiple times, we have missions on Mars with rovers. Everything to justify the existence of a branch dedicated to space already exists.
@cammysmith7562
@cammysmith7562 3 жыл бұрын
Roger Wilco I don’t think you understand the purpose of space force at all... the main goal of space force isn’t just flying around in space most of it is on land here on earth monitoring our satellites and defence networks in space. We already have spaceships hence how humans are currently in space they just aren’t the kind you see in sci-fi films. Space force are also in charge of monitoring private companies such as SpaceX and Boeing’s operations in space to make sure they don’t accidentally crash into things. The space ships we have now are comparable to what planes were like at the end of WW1, primitive but useful and important enough to warrant countries to create branches dedicated to space. The United States has the largest space operations, China and Russia are already looking at creating its own space forces and the UK has been in talks with Australia and Canada to create a combined royal space force. This isn’t a new idea and has been planned for the best part of 20 years.

In the mid-1980s Cheyenne Mountain was the home of three space commands. NORAD was a joint US-Canada command. Air Force Space Command and US Space Command were also located there. The 1010th Security Squadron was designated as an elite guard unit. The main reason for this was the high level of visibility. We provided security, not only for the Mountain and it’s resources, but we also did protocol and security duties for visiting dignitaries. Among those, the list included then VP George Bush, Saudi royals, European allies VIPs, as well as members of Congress. Cheyenne Mt. had 24 general officers assigned. Brigadier Generals were Command directors and they worked shift work with the combat crews. It was an interesting place. When the movie “War Games” came out, it attracted every nutcase in the country to come to visit us. We apprehended and body-slammed a bunch of them. The Mountain was a Priority A resource, which meant deadly force was authorized to protect the facility.

I know when everyone saw Netflix's Space Force trailer it looked like they'd rip into the whole idea. But watching it actually didn't condemn the Space Force and opened up my mind to reconsider it. The show does poke fun at the idea but also mocks everyone, including the president and a couple popular democrat senators. It doesn't have a strong bias in any political direction but it does have a positive inclination towards science that reinforces the ideals of Space Force. Considering how NASA has lost much of its funding and how warfare is evolving to become more reliant on technology I now condone the idea of a military branch devoted to space. It's a practical way to advance in this political climate so we can further advance the discoveries of space and protect the assets we have in orbit.

I'd love to be a part of this. I have an electronic high power magnetic (Magnetron Engine) flywheel. It will pull tons Zero point friction. Containment of field is accomplished. Further. I believe that if you could channel the magnet field produced at high RPS. You could use it to protect a space ships outter haul. A Force Field. The field is deadly. Magnetic push at a short distance out from the ship. Not much makes it through. Save radio waves etc. In theory. At a massive enough spin point I think some sort of event happens. In space and time. A rip in it. It is so powerful it's basically the same one used to move trains. Only a flywheel and shaft instead of a track system. You can transmission it out like a car.
