Wow, thank you. Accidentally stumbled across your tutorials when I was looking at another crochet tutorial. Until a few days ago I had never crocheted before, thought I would try something different during this lockdown. Now I can’t stop watching your video’s, and giving mosaic ago. Love your intro music. I’me a healthcare assistant and have been self isolating for the last 3 days due to symptoms, thankfully I have had a negative result and can go back to work. You have kept me upbeat and taken some stress away. You truly are an unrecognised hero. Thank you again💕

I bought some of your patterns (including this one) and was able to easily work from your charts, but struggled a bit with this shawl and figuring out how the border stiches and chain spaces worked - I'd never increased with mosaic crochet before! Fantastic instructions. I purchased this pattern (and a few others) and am 1/2 through making my first Havana Shawl. I can tell you right now, it's my favorite pattern. Very good instructions and great video tutorial. My only compliant is that I wish I had more yarn colors, because mine's pretty, but now I need a rainbow one as well.

I love your tutorials Tinna, they are always done so beautifully and your work is simply gorgeous. I do have a quick question though, how do you secure your end from the magic circle? I find the mc tends to come loose with use when I make afghans/blankets and the hole gets bigger. So when working on things that call for a mc, I usually do a double mc, doing two circles before securing with a slip stitch and beginning the pattern and finally pulling it tight and then when sewing it in, I just sew it under the stitches and this holds it in place Have you found in the shawl that the mc comes loose after lots of wear and even with washing? I am about to buy your pattern and thought I would ask. Thanks for your help and for the tutorials!

eudaimonia oh that sounds perfect! This pattern (as most of my patterns) is just perfect for scraps! ... just take care to save your bigger balls for those last rows because they are quite long 😉 And crazy colors are the best! 😉💃🏽😘
