Have you thought about the HomeBioGas digester toilet? It converts food scraps (and your poop and pee) into cooking gas and the toilet almost looks and works the same as a normal toilet, except you press a pump handle instead of a button. I'm probably going to get one myself.

@@TheDoerDuo Aye it does, but it does still have some limitations, such as a limited number of recommended flushes per day and what you can do with the bog roll after you've been. So it may not be suitable for a tiny house village but might be great for a couple of people at a time. The big win is that you can have a wee and a poo at the same time. 👍 Pretty cheap too, all things considered. It's an Israeli company that's been making them for years now, and tweaking the design, and they've become popular enough with off-gridders to have localised international websites. Here's one bloke's review, I'd recommend watching a bunch of reviews weighing up the pros and cons. Might be just what you're looking for, might not be. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGTUfaGbmdFgnKM

We bought 26 acres and built these cabins and we’ll definitely be doing more projects in the future! It’s really fun and people really enjoy them. These cabins are my job and my partner has a full time job. Thanks for watching!

We have a dump site in the ground away from the A-frame so smell is never an issue 🙌
