The dog in this video was definitely NOT a bait dog. I don't think you understand how that works. A bait dog does not get away with minimal scars and no damage they are completely covered in scars and cuts

My pittie girl was rescued from a cage breeder situation and she was starving and beaten. She, too, has always needed another dog to be absolutely relaxed around humans. It's been 8 years, and she still flinches when she is petted. She's the sweetest girl but needs her own emotional support dog, which I gave to her. I'm glad poptart has one too!

The term “pit bull” (or ‘pittie’) isn’t used to refer to a specific breed but to a category of dogs that share a common ancestor that was bred in England by crossing ‘pit dogs’ (don’t exist any more) and the Olde English Bulldog. Breeds based on this initial cross include the Staffordshire Terrier (or ‘Staffy’), the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Bulldog, and the American Staffordshire Terrier. They’re all referred to as “pit bulls”, so if Poptart is a Staffy (who knows?) she’s also a pittie. The other pitties in this video look like AmStaffs, but again who knows? Most dogs called “pit bulls” are mixed breed mutts. I love them all.

It takes a lot of patience, kindness and love to be able to foster a cat or a dog to get them ready to go to a new home, whatever their situation has been in the past. You basically give up everything in your home to help them. Been there, done that. May God bless you, your family and your love to help these guys. I wish there were more people like us out there. i had a foster pittie, who I ended up adopting, who I had to carry when taking walks because she was so scared. i took a few weeks for her to realize that i wasn't going to just leave her somewhere during our walks and that she was safe. now she's the one constantly reminding me that walk time is coming up
