take the black cover off the antenna to save even more weight. Also, you can get rid of the 2 canopy screws and just glue it with a tiny bit of uhu por.

I just got the Emax TinyHawk and it performs so much better and is far more durable. I would recommend it over any brushed whoop for sure. I would like to make a review for it but I am moving to Texas next weekend so my time is very limited. My might do a quick review if I find some time.

I'm building something similar but with stock props and 17500kv motors. I've also got a carbon fiber cross brace to make the frame more rigid, it weighs about a gram. Have you seen about running the motors in the stock inductrix locations, rather than the betaflight motor positions? The duct supports are angled on the inductrix frame so it is designed to have the motors a certain way (the supports are flat on the E010 frame) EDIT: Found a UK seller of the Rakonheli 3 blade props, so have picked up a set of those to try out.

Jimster71 I noticed the same thing in my build. I don't think it is possible to change the motor directions but it seems to me to not make any noticeable difference.
@CrashNBurnRacing

It's actually very easy to change motor direction. Just copy and past into CLI: set yaw_motor_direction = -1

Hey, love the video, inspired me to build the same one. I also noticed the frame rotated 90 degrees, when you switched this how did it affect what motor went where and prop direction? I have head you want the motor direction to match the direction of the angle of the motor struts to create smother airflow and less drag and to accomplish this you must reverse all motor directions in the cli in beta flight. I am wondering what color motor leads to put on what corner of the quad and where to plug them into the board as well as cw vs ccw prop rotation
@CrashNBurnRacing
@CrashNBurnRacing 7 жыл бұрын
Joshua Young I noticed the FC was on sideways and fixed it before flying. look in video description to change motor direction. After that all you need is to change the props to match. I did not notice a difference in performance but it won't hurt.

why dont you make a stretched whoop and see how that flies.maybe the back arms elongated like a stretched motorcycle. or maybe a v-tail if thats possible
@CrashNBurnRacing
@CrashNBurnRacing 7 жыл бұрын
Due to the lack of power there's not really a whole lot you can do to a tiny whoop to improve performance. If more performance is your thing then you need to go the brushless rout. I should be getting the new EMAX babyhawk in a week or so, or when it is finally released.

I know I'm a month late, but either you can use the flysky a8s with an FC that supports iBus, or you can get the Eachine Beecore f3 FC, www.banggood.com/Beecore-F3_EVO_Brushed-ACRO-Flight-Control-Board-DSM2-For-Inductrix-Tiny-Whoop-Eachine-E010-p-1089021.html Turnigy uses the flysky protocol, and you can choose that on that FC :)

On these tiny whoops, how do you know which motor to put in the CW and the CCW spots? On bigger motors it's quite clear, on these little guys, I cannot seem to find it.
@CrashNBurnRacing
@CrashNBurnRacing 6 жыл бұрын
The original inductrix spins opposite of normal direction. Aftermarket boards usually spin in the normal direction. I would hook your whoop to beta flight and look in the configuration tab (top left) and see how it is set up. There will be arrows on each motor indicating the required motor rotation.
