I don't have OCD but I do have GAD and the swallowing thing happens to me too sometimes. It's one of those physical anxiety symptoms that makes you think something is really wrong with you and starts an anxious feedback loop.

That not being able to swallow/feeling like you have a lump in your throat thing is definitely a stress symptom. Used to happen to me when I was younger, when I had pretty bad anxiety for a couple of years. Same with the breathing, like you’re constantly aware of how you’re breathing, or feel like you need a deep breath all the time. There’s a sciency reason behind it, something to do with a chemical your body produces when you’re stressed out, or something like that. Hope it passes soon, man!

Every time I’ve had anxiety attacks it’s either existential anxiety where the more I think about how weird I feel the worse I feel and it doesn’t go away u til I go to sleep and wake up, or anxiety attacks where I can’t breath properly for like hours on end and I can’t eat. Those make me angry especially if I don’t know what’s causing it and it starts to really hurt my chest/I get dizzy
