I find it hard to believe that nothing exists to replace this plane. Since the Dash-7 was discontinued there's nothing that can carry 45+ people, fly that high, and land on such short and rough runways.

😂you have never heard of the Grumman C-2 Greyhound? I flew that thing for 12 years. It is built to carry 28 pax and cargo, but can carry up to 50 pax if absolutely need be.

Salam, I was there teaching in early eighties . That time the island too wonderful. Beautiful people with lot of fish . The tourist not many accept at Nazri`s place.Many planes nose down.
