I had to return my springs do the the binding issue. It essentially decreased the velocity of my projectiles below stock, even if the velocity screw was opened all the way.

I can now say without a doubt they do not fit and would have caused problems. Was it you that mentioned the spring issue a few vids back?

Sorry should have asked this here not the last video lol anyhow..... So i took my Tipmann TMC Elite "just bought" test fired it worked. Took it apart to clean it. Put it back together now it won't fire. I'm using an 88g c02 cartridge. I can hear a very faint leak in the marker, but nothing crazy. When i pull the trigger it sounds like when you dry fire it without c02.

I wonder if the Tippmann '98 upgraded "tuning" hammer springs would work in the TMC. The valving and the hammer and everything look very '98ish. Looking at the hammer spring after you removed it, it looks right. I have the 5 piece tuning spring kit for my Tippmann Air Ordnance belt-fed 22 pellet gun which is based on the '98, but I have not installed it yet. EDIT : lol nevermind....you have them That sucks they don't work

😆 yes this kit was marketed by Mcs to fit the Tmc but it does not. It was specifically made for the 98 series. Bummer Ill just order my own. I just hate waiting.

I will be posting a disassembly of the valve tomorrow. The velocity screw is like a gate valve and just throttles the air flow.

Hey Guy, when I looked at the description of those springs on eBay, it was saying that the red was the hardest did you actually feel them because I don’t know if I wanna pick them up

I purchased them from Mcs and in the description they list black as the hardest. I have since switched to the TechT spring which is noticeably harder than any of the springs i received. Also the springs from Mcs didnt actually fit properly.

What do you think about the TechT super bolt for the TMC?

I never tested the super bolt. The theory behind it is to be gentle on paint. Its action may be counter productive for less lethal unless you were to upgrade the spring.

I am thinking about giving it a try, I’ve looked everywhere for the Killhouse bolt and nobody has them.

@dale5560 looks like Ansgear has the delrin bolt listed as Warrior power tube and delrin bolt for Tippmann 98. This is the same as the Kill House but you just cant use the power tube portion.
