Dan'O's new name. Shark Tank Dan'O!! You are truly a man of the people and entrepreneurs! Much success coming your way brother! Dan, you might just have a gift for helping other entrepreneurs, learn the ropes, through your experiences, setbacks, and success. Starting a CPG business, is the top +95% of difficulty to pull off. Who need's McCormick, Dot's Pretzels got bought out for a premium, by Hershey's, because like you said, She knew she had a great and unique product.

This was a really selfless thing to do. Most people want to keep success a secret and not help their fellow man. You did and I gained even more respect!!! Thank you!!! Love your seasonings!

This was perfect! So many great bits of information that i had no idea about. It's so important to share good tips, in whatever your specialty might be, so we can all learn and do better at whatever we're trying to achieve.

This is an awesome video and very informative. For a future video if you could please help us further understand the two pathways of manufacturing and co-packing. Subjects could include pros and cons of each, starter kit list for home manufacturing and eventually scaling, and how to properly select a co-packer, thank you 🙏🏼 😊.

Thanks for the straightforward answers to what I know are a lot of people's questions. So many people fail because they don't understand simple business premises such as, mark-up amd margins. How to aquire needed items in bulk wholesale from a *dependable* source that won't disappear right when things get going well. Looking up ccopywrite and patent info to protect yourself and your business, etc.. If you need someone else's money, you have to have a straightforward, simple to understand and functional business plan. One that you can explain clearly and that covers all "angles" of your proposed business. 😊

How did you develop your recipe and (assuming you didn't know ahead of time) how did you scale it up/down and nail the recipe for the amount that's in the bottle? Cause we all know that typically doubling or reducing a recipe does not yield the same result.

I used Bard AI and learned about both bakers percent and percent by volume to learn the difference between the two. Put in your initial ingredients and measurements by weight (not volume) into Bard and have it covert all your ingredients into percentages by volume. Once made into a percentages you can then ask Bard to create and scale your recipe to what ever weight you need (i.e. 8 oz or 99 g) If you only have volume measurement like cups and teaspoons and such you can get a rough estimate with an online volume to grams converter. Remember that dry volume weight and wet volume weight are different. Or even better use a food scale to make a small batch and get your weights that way. You can then test these measurements out yourself and see if the product is to your liking and continue to work with Bard to adjust. Once the product is to your satisfaction you should now have a recipe that is written in volume percentages and can be easily scaled. Just my theory anyways, and hope that was helpful. Thank you 😅.
