This is great! But please be careful with spearmint, especially the capsules. (The capsules have way more spearmint in them than the tea, so drinking the tea might not be as harmful). I was taking spearmint capsules daily and cleared my acne, regulated my cycle, but a year later, developed liver issues that I’m now working to reverse. Found out that spearmint can damage the liver and the kidneys for some (not all) people… so please be cautious, especially if you already have liver and kidney concerns. 💕

Yikes! Thank you for this info. I just started the spearmint capsules, because I thought it would be a clever shortcut for those days when I forget the tea. I'm going to switch to a half dose to reduce the risk. Hope your liver issues resolve quickly and without complications. 🥰

Maybe u were taking other pills/supplements too which is why had liver issues but yeah the tea is better

Hi, what type of magnesium? There are different types
@tiffanysalerno4 күн бұрын
Magnesium. Spearmint tea. Green tea around noon if caffeine is needed. Morning sun & steps. Tons of water. Lots of protein. ACV on salads. No blue light after 9 pm. Fast at least 12 hours in each 24-hour day.

Only thing i can't do is give up coffee but the others have helped me a lot. Ive also minimized my packaged snack consumption to the weekend rather than cutting it off completely and its been working for me

Right- journaling really helps pcos. A physical issue that can be helped by writing shit in a notebook.
@blueseptember217413 күн бұрын
Pcos is so tightly linked with stress and cortisol. Anything that lowers the stress response will indeed help pcos
@jessj25308 күн бұрын
… yes? Mental stress worsens PCOS.

I def gotta try the spearmint. However I won't do green tea. It dries our my throat really bad and I get an ugly annoying cough from the dryness. It also stains my teeth worse than coffee ever has.

Is the type of magnesium of any relevance
@paoalexescja14 күн бұрын
magnesium glycinate (or biglycinate...it's the same) is a bioavailable form and will not affect your bowel movements.

Can peppermint tea be used instead of spearmint? Spearmint tea is nearly impossible to get where I am.
@jessj25308 күн бұрын
You can’t unfortunately. Might be worth it to order through a mail forwarding service.

Unfortunately, I can’t give up coffee and I only drink 1 cup/day then I drink green tea after my coffee in the morning:) Also, I take inositol in the morning and in the evening but I notice that I want to eat more and I have more cravings since I have been taking it. Does anyone have the same issue with inositol? Is it just me?? 😊
@jessj25308 күн бұрын
Normally it lessens sugar cravings for people
@kristynspon80703 күн бұрын
I never took it. I just lost the weight. I limited processed sugars and counted calories and I dropped about 30 pounds before my periods regulated and all symptoms(besides facial hair, that will never go away) subsided. I also exercised. I have 4 kids now and no longer have pcos(confirmed by 3 obgyns now).

I don’t eat for 12+hrs after 5 pm yet I’m still not losing weight. Magnesium makes me spot persistently. Why is that…
@kurimallow14 күн бұрын
😂 I tried Inositol ... worked for 6 months now I dont stop bleeding if I take it... Its a constantly changing thing. There are no right answers yet. Only "this worked for me, try this".... gotta be your own doctor and experimentalist
@CryBaby1122014 күн бұрын
Might depend on what you’re eating also. Are you eating a lot of sugar and high carb?
@user-zm3no5xb6t14 күн бұрын
@@CryBaby11220 nothing out of the ordinary. Why would I have persistent spotting now for almost a year but not before? It did happen when I took magnesium again. I took it in the past and no bad effects. I don’t have any pain though
@CryBaby1122014 күн бұрын
@@user-zm3no5xb6t I would make an appointment with a doctor so they can maybe check levels of magnesium in your blood since it could be because you’re taking too much magnesium. I am not sure though but I wouldn’t take any more pills! Hope everything is okay make sure to take care of yourself :)

You probably have progesterone dominance. I would say stop fasting and eat regular meals. Go for goji berry/ herbal drinks. And do 30 minutes walking everyday Worked for me.
