Baked this last night. So yummy! My family wasn't keen on eating it, like "a cake made from oats"? But when they tasted it, they just kept going and going; in fact, they took some to school and work. Here's how I modified the recipe: 1) since I didn't know what type of oats, so I used half instant, half rolled oats -- turned out having a good texture. 2) when everything was mixed, it was too runny so I added 1/4 c of oats -- the baked result was just right, not wet or dry. 3) used brown sugar instead of white. 4) incorporated some chopped apple and raisins into the mix (not just on top) . 5) added cinnamon. That's it, it's really a good dish, say for breakfast, straight out of the oven. Thank you for sharing!

I made this but added sweet dark cherries instead of berries, and pecans. I also tossed in seeds for added fiber and protein. This recipe is a keeper -- thank you!

Я вчера это приготовила. Еле запихнула в себя кусок. Это почти несладкая овсяная каша, только не сваренная, а запеченая. Ну на очень большого любителя овсянки или ярого фаната ПП. Лучше я съем на эти калории меньше, но вкуснее. А овсянка намного лучше в обычной каше.

Я не розумію тих, в кого ця смакота не вийшла. Все просто швидко, доступно а головне смачно, від себе додала корицю і ще одне яблучко. 👍

I make this so often and I pour fresh warm cream over slices of it for a breakfast meal, quick brunch, snack … add whip cream or whipped coconut cream m and it’s a bread desert. I LOVE this recipe! For a vegan version a chef can use plant base milk and flax meal with water for egg substitute. Take 1 TBSP of ground flax meal to 3 TBSP of water 💧- let it sit for 5 minutes. This formula equals 1 egg.

i am eating this hot out of the oven. it is very good! i ALWAYS make a recipe the written way the first time. then change up, if needed, the next time. i will definitely make again my family are huge fans of oatmeal. next time i will add brown sugar with a touch of cinnamon on the top! this is definitely a keeper! thank you!

Отличный пирог. Делала с яблоком и замороженной малиной. Она добавила приятной кислинки. Если честно, не ожидала, что он будет текой нежный. Очень, очень хороший пирог для диетического. Однозначно буду готовить еще. Спасибо за рецепт!

Подскажите, при какой температуре и сколько выпекали? Никак не подстроюсь под новую духовку. Сахар, пожалуй сукралозой заменю. Необходимо ли сверху масло?

@@olunalrn4924 just taken mine out of the oven. I cooked mine at 180⁰C and because l used frozen fruit and a smaller dish it needed about 1 hour. I didn't put oil on top AND I forgot the butter. Seems ok.

Hi, you mentioned there's english subtitles, but what good does this do, when for oats it states 200g & milk as 400ml, what the heck is 200 g's & 400 ml's mean, i'm guessing it's 2 cups oats & 2 cups of milk, wow so confusing.

Just tried this with cinnamon! I love combination of cinnamon-apple-oat. I added sugar to top and wild blueberries with apple. Very good and healthy recept. ..and thanks for a tips, Catherine Tan! God bless you!

I have to convert the grams and wonder if you measured by volume or weight? Americans tend to measure by volume and the English by weight and this video comes from Europe I think. By weight for the oatmeal and volume for the milk?

Делаю такое. Получается легко и вкусно. Если овсянка 1-3-х минутная, она сможет размокнуть в тесте, а если 15-20-ти минутная, то надо её - сухую - измельчить в блендере, иначе выйдет невкусно: хлопья будут ощущаться в пироге, а если подсохнут - и вовсе будут напоминать ДСП :)

Я использовала хлопья быстрого приготовления,не требующие варки,тесто присыпала корицей,яблоко очистила,натерла на слайсы,посыпала тросниковым сахаром,получился румяный пирог. Замерила через 2 часа сахар в крови-низкий!!! Благодарю за рецепт!!! Если честно,то не очень то надеялась,что понравится!!!👌

Интересный подход. Устали от овсянки? Тогда берём овсянку. Сделала все по рецепту. Овсянка, она и в Африке овсянка. Хоть с яблоком и ягодами.

Yo hago galletas o tortitas de avena solo rallando varias manzanas, añado harina de avena, un poco de aceite de oliva, canela y amaso hasta que la masa tenga un poco de consistencia. Formo las galletas y las meto en el horno a 200º unos veinte minutos. O bien hago tortitas y las hago en una sarten untada con aceite y bien caliente. Salen dulces por las manzanas aunque si te gusta mas dulce, añade un poco de miel por encima

it is delucious,I can say it because i have been doing this recipe for months,but in my recipe I butter the base,add a spoonful of brown sugar and then add the diced apple and the berries, then I place the cake upside down with a caramelized fruity top,it is delucious,plus,it allows the cake to rise a little bit more. Thanks for posting this healthy bake.

US Baking instructions: 1 1/4 cup oats 1 2/3 cup milk >> mix well and let sit 5-10 min >> In separate bowl whisk 2 eggs >> add 1/3 cup sugar Pinch of salt 2 1/4 tsp baking powder >> mix well and add to oat mixture >> Grease 8x8 with butter >> place mixture in 8x8 >> sprinkle with 1/3 cup of berries 1 cubed apple 1/2 stick of butter >> bake in 400 degree oven for 40 min (65 min if you double the batch in a 9x13) Delicious! Making it for the second time by popular request.

I write guided meditations professionally and have had the privilege of presenting them at some of the most wonderful spas in the country. But when I’m stressed out I love to watch these videos! I find them mesmerizing and so calming! I eat oatmeal every single morning & I can’t wait to try this recipe. I’ll probably add cinnamon, leave out the sugar & butter & use parchment paper to line the pan, but it looks so yummy! I think it would be amazing to keep a few squares frozen and defrost in the fridge the night before I need a grab and go breakfast. A quick zap in the microwave & it would be perfect… we could even wrap them up and take them on hikes w a thermos of hot coffee for a breakfast picnic! Thank you so much for these wonderful meditations.. um, I mean videos! 😉 I love them! ☺️

Pre 2010 I owned a spa & quite a few of my clients knew I meditated & and had training in the practice & asked me if I could teach them to meditate. I had enough interest from clients that I decided to offer guided meditation at my spa. I’d created all my own spa treatments and products so, of course, I decided to create my own meditations! I’ve also done a lot of writing and truly love the creative process! From this little seed of an idea - writing a few guided meditations for my clients - I was swept away by inspiration and I created my own system of guided meditations. I was so inspired it led me to close my spa and peruse the meditations full time. I tried them out on focus groups and when I got them to a level that I - and the audiences - felt really good about, I started cold calling and marketing myself. I landed an “audition” at a luxury spa & was hired as a long term regular presenter. The reputation of that spa opened doors for me at others. Although there is no certification requirement for meditation, I did get certified so I could teach meditation to a class as well as teach others to become meditation teachers. Now, because we’ve lived in France since 2017 (I have no work visa) I’ve been posting meditations on KZbin rather than doing them live. I do look forward to returning home so I can do my meditations again! So that was my journey! To me, it sounds as though you have enough experience with meditation to just start writing your own! Follow your imagination and your intuition, just like you said! I’m also a yoga instructor and creating my yoga classes follows a very similar structure. It’s the intro, the warm up, the body of the practice, the cool down, and the exit. It’s the exact same with meditation. Use your favorite affirmations. Your favorite breathing techniques. In the beginning, I wrote my own music to go with the meditations (some of that is on my older meditations here on YT!) but now there is so much music available!! If you have an affinity for this, you’ll know intuitively which music/sounds best accompanies each meditation. You can do it! Will you be posting on KZbin? Do you have a channel? ✨🦋✨ Amie

Тесто похоже на овсяно блин минус разрыхлитель и сахар, ну и количество ингредиентов в меньшей пропорции. Овсяно-блин готовлю часто, теперь приготовлю такой пирог, только измельчу немного овсянку она у меня длительной варки. Спасибо за рецепт! 🌺😊

I like it! I think it will be very easy to substitute the fruity bits for variety and add a generous portion of cinnamon., as well as using a muffin tin for portable portions. I have no problem converting to US measurements. I'll just use my kitchen scales. Thank you very much! I also think I'll try using honey instead because, well . . . I just don't buy sugar. :D

Hope that will work for you! I also plan to substitute sugar for a liquid sweetener, but I’d add a bit less milk to keep the same batter consistency - I’ll try 350ml instead of 400.

@@Alena-28 испекла. Если вы любите овсянную кашу, то смело можете готовить и на завтрак само то. Но на пирог это вообще не похоже, просто запечённая каша с фруктами. По мне лучше и быстрее приготовить овсяно-блин с различной начинкой.

I made this today, thanks so much for the recipe! The texture is quite gooey and a bit rubbery, but I didn't mind at all. I added some vanilla extract and cinnamon and used dark brown sugar which I am glad I did as the 'dough' alone would otherwise not have much flavour. I'd also recommend going a bit heavier on the fruit :) Overall a nice, relatively healthy thing to snack on.

I made this 2 days ago and I have one baking in the oven right now. It was a hit with all my kids the first time and they are picky eaters. I made some modifications the first time. I didn't have any fruits in the house so I sub'd the apple and blueberry for almonds and choco chips. today, i used apples, raspberries and almonds hopefully it will still be delish. This is a keeper. Thanks

Great recipe! I would add vanilla to it! Great as a dessert too with Icecream! I might try it with cocoa powder or some instant coffee with nuts!! Really the possibilities are endless!

My first batch is in the oven. To reduce the sugar I put some minced, dried figs and 4 teaspoons of monk fruit sweetener. It smell heavenly.

Great recipe!! I make something similar, except I add another egg, skip the sugar, add whey protein powder, and add raisins and cinnamon too. Really nummy (lower carb/higher protein), especially eaten with milk.

@Alieff Farwell OATMEAL PROTEIN BARS 1 C. Old-Fashioned Oats 1/2 C. Milk 1/2 c water 1/2 t. Salt 2 T. Raisins 1 t. Cinnamon 3 eggs 2 scoops whey protein powder 1/2 C almond flour 1/2 C. Chopped walnuts 1/3 C shredded coconut 1 apple, peeled and diced small 1 stick butter Soak oats in milk and water for at least 30 minutes. Add rest of ingredients, except butter. Put butter in 8x8 glass dish and put in oven to melt. Turn it on to 350°. When melted, add to mix and mix thoroughly. Pour into pan and bake approximately 30 minutes. When cool cut into 16 squares. Carb=7, Fat=10, Pro=5
