New subscriber from Texas. I understand the pretty yellow tree. I have one in my back yard. I use seed mats and coconut coir for sprouting some seeds. And a grow light after they sprout. I'm trying to grow some tomatoes indoors this year. I live in an old church. Before it was a church, it was a school house that was built around 1866. I would love to restore, but I have already gotten too old for such projects.

Get some chickens! Grow a big garden and can your own food. That is a lot to start of with. Farm work is hard work. I love the brick you found around the house.
