That Randy Moss TD is probably my all time favorite Randy Moss TD. That showcased just how fast he was.

I hadn't remembered that he caught that ball and took off like a shot with 2 minutes left to go in the game! So that was after almost 4 complete quarters of running routes, catching balls, and taking hits. Amazing stuff. For me, Moss is the GOAT. No question.

01 Vikings were the superbowl champs so often in my Madden game that I can no longer understand why this team wasn't good. I liked every player on this team.

The catch and go that Moss took to the house was ⚡⚡. Reminded me of the TD he scored against the Saints in the divisional playoffs. That one may still be the fastest score by a WR that i've ever seen. 💥💨

The Saints one was unreal. Multiple saints had an angle on him and he still hit the sideline and outran them all.

He was good his first 2 seasons. And feel off a cliff in 2003 when the entire defense got better and he regressed. Didn't make sense

yeah, I remember Mike the buffoon ties with his shuffling of the defense when they were falling apart in 2003. He benched Fred Robbins, who was a pretty good defensive tackle and kept Chris hovan on the team. And the guy did nothing! Clueless, buffoon coach to stick with the guy and the jerk, not very good anymore player that got caught and squealed on Mike Tice about illegal distribution of Super bowl tickets or something.

People took that whole play when I want thing way outta context and it still bothers me......he’s self motivated no 1 has to pump him up to get him ready to play is what he meant! But true to moss style and character he felt he didn’t have to explain himself to anyone so he never clarified the statement.....I hope he never changes

i watched the video and i didn't see him trying to block at all. cris carter always blocked. sure looks like low effort and i remember how he quit on us in 2010. then there was how he didn't try for the raiders etc etc.. i definitely don't think he played as hard as he could have all the time.

I remember the Vikings 2001 season….team wasn’t the same after Korey Stringer passed away months before the season started and Robert Smith retired after the 2000 season….plus the team send Dennis Green packing before the final game of the 2001 season…why the Vikings do that?!….smh….RIP Steve McNair, Dennis Green And Orlando Thomas…..

And just to think rewind in the 1998 draft the Tennessee Titans passed on Randy Moss for Kevin Dyson..just think McNair,George,Mason and Moss on offense man we would’ve at least have one or 2 Super Bowls

it's insane looking at this watching Randy Moss, on that last touchdown, pull away from Andre Dyson, who ran a 4.38 40. and was crazier than that is that Michael Bennett was even faster than Randy Moss. I think he ran a 4.13

DJ TallChief there’s a difference between track speed and football speed......moss has both
@TallChief425 жыл бұрын
@@treybear8174 very true. What Randy Moss said himself that of the three fastest guys on the team, back in 2003, himself, Michael Bennett and Kelly Campbell, Michael Bennett would win every race. And Michael Bennett had football speed. You could probably find the 2001 game at Pittsburgh where he took a swing pass and just took off. And also 2002 game at Tampa Bay when he ran about 85 yards. You see his football speed. I'm not saying he's a Hall of famer and I'm not his cousin or something. Just saying he was ultra-fast. Go find that KZbin video of the longest Vikings plays every year that goes all the way back to 92. You'll see Bennett up there
@deanladue31514 жыл бұрын
@@TallChief42 was a very fast running back, but unfortunately became turnover prone. In later years the Vikings would turn to Onterrio Smith, Mewelde Moore, and Ciatrick Faison, because of Bennetts tendency to fumble. Probably the reason that Brad Childress didn't keep him, and went out and got Chester Taylor.
@TallChief424 жыл бұрын
@@deanladue3151 at the very least, he was a third down back. He would have been good to use on kick returns and third down because after he left the Vikings, that's mostly what he did. He wasn't a feature back like they wanted him to be although he did have a 1000 yard season
@deanladue31514 жыл бұрын
@@TallChief42 and also when Childress was hired, he changed the run philosophy of the team to a more traditional 'in the box' 'between the tackles' style running game. A very physical style of running the football.
