I appreciate you always including highlights from the other team. I'm doing a video on former Buccaneers QB Shaun King and this helped me out

Skolney “Tampa Bay is a good football team, but Minnesota is a good football team too. My guess is whoever can score the most points will probably win the game.”

@@jayNicks10 Dennis Miller great comedic talent but just a horrible announcer. perfect definition of a "square peg" WTF was ABC thinking?
@deannobody15 жыл бұрын
I kind of felt bad for him during the Vikings-Giants Monday night game the next season when he said: ‘I feel like a whore.’ I think he knew he wasn’t cut out to be an announcer.

This was an incredible game. I remember watching it at Damons Chapel Hill in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I was exhausted after all of the action lol

I had totally forgotten that the Vikings tried to get Dan Marino to come out of retirement. I guess their faith in Daunte was a little shaky.
@deanladue31514 жыл бұрын
They had so much dead money on their spending cap at the time, a big reason they let so many players go after '99. With that money saved Green then campaigned to get Marino. Dan said he VERY nearly accepted. But with his legs in such rough shape he thought twice.

I realize that they now play in a beautiful stadium in US Bank Stadium, but seeing classic games like this, cant help but miss the Metrodome a little bit.

Wait, Carter, Moss, and Marino? No way!
@vc27r3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Denny Green let Jeff George go after he drug his feet on a contract for 2000, then recruited Marino, then Rick Mirer, and only after he was turned down by both did he give Culpepper the nod as the starter. I remember the MN columnists were ripping Green before the season for that decision but the Vikes had a good season and came within a game of the SB (albeit a horribly lopsided loss of a game)

It's sad to see a Vikings great player finishing up their career with a different team.

As always, from day one, the Vikings have a game won and have to hold on for dear life at the end.
