Titleist TSR Hybrid - Our Best Golf Club Fitting Yet?

I’ve been a Titleist guy since I started golfing. Just last October when the TSR line was on preorder, I went for fitting for driver, 3 wood and hybrids but the hybrids wasn’t out yet, so I was fitting for Cobra 4 and 3 hybrids. Needless to say, I just got a new 3,4 TRS2 with Ventus blue.

Sorry Mike. Luv ya bruh, but it is so much more pleasurable and informative watching Frank get fit. 🤣 His swing is so much more consistent and repeatable. Can we spend more time on Frank's fittings in the future? He only got 6 minutes of the total video on this one.

I always like how you do your fittings on grass. I hate it in the UK doing them of mats i never feel comfortable.

Been watching you guys for s few months. Was there ever any question for either of you between 5 wood and 3 hybrid? I'm between both and wondered what your thoughts are?

IMHO Titleist totally missed the ball in marketing that TSR1 hybrid... instead of calling it a slower swing speed hybrid, they should have called it a "players, compact fairway wood." They would of done 10x in their sales if they promoted it as a players club... I am a solid 6 hcp with plenty of speed and love my fairway woods. But couldn't find a compact 21 degree 7 wood that i liked....until i found the tsr1 hybrid. it literally gaps perfect with my 17 degree tsr2 5/4 wood. Nice easy high flight, very versatile, small and compact (compared to most Fw Woods) and the shorter shaft gives great control of flight etc. (FYI I also had an additional 2 grams added to the sole weight for feel and balance.) Seriously, good players should go test this club too.... don't write it off as a slow swing/old man club.

@@julianaguilar4134 yes I do! It’s essentially the replacement for my 4 iron or driving iron. Sits between my irons and fairway wood. I really think it is an underrated club. I did add a heavier head weight to it so it was so light weight etc. Let me know if you got any questions

I've been looking for a 4 iron replacement and I'm not a big hybrid fan but I am a fan of this one not just for the adjustability aspect but also because it reminds me of a hybrid mixed with a fairway wood. Reminds me of the apex uw so I'm with you I'm surprised this club hasn't gotten more attention. Thank you very much for sharing your experience with this club.

@@julianaguilar4134 I compared it to the callaway UW. I found the tsr1 tended to launch a little higher (with the same static loft) and I liked the shape of the tsr1 head better.
