yes this stupid stupid stupiddd thing of "add that feature and we will buy" is SUCH a lie and I wasted months adding features to my product and they ended up not buying. This gave me such a bad taste in my mouth about some of these businesses. I really felt I was the worst salesman on the planet. But, really I wasn't prepared/pitching right. It really boils down to confidence and empathy. 1. Personalize = empathy 2. somewhere familiar = empathy 3. highlight in the day of = empathy 4. tie back in risks = confidence 5. roadmap slide = confidence
