Hey in my opinion, the last ronin story. It could have easily been any one of the turtles who survived, and they could have made something really beautiful out of it. Raphs rage either causes him to leave after splinter dies, or it’s raphs rage that gets his brothers killed and he goes on a spiritual journey to deal with that, and his rage to become the last ronin. Donnie could work just as well because he could rely on his tech too much and it lead his brothers to death. And he learns to become one with mind AND BODY. Or in my opinion even tho I loved how this story turned out. It should have been Leonardo. He has the biggest feats out of all his brothers, and Leo deal with that fear every single day since he become leader. Him leading his team to their deaths, he couldn’t lead them out or save them. And the whole thing with Mikey is that he’s JUST as good as Leo, when Leo gets better so does Michelangelo. BUT Mikey doesn’t apply himself, he doesn’t have the weight of the world on his shoulders like his big bro Leo. Which is why he works so well. BUT Leo would work better for a more darker and grittier story then it already is. And makes more sense. His entire tribe got killed, and just a theory, after his brothers died he needs Yusagi and his clan, but inevitabley even yusagi being a ronin himself get killed off one by one as well. Leo becoming the last one of his kind. With the weight of the world on his shoulders even more, would push him in a way his brothers woulndt be. But hey it’s just my opinion

I just found out about this on another channel that I'm subscribed to and as I said over there, it looks like Nickelodeon and Paramount have finally grown some balls and I couldn't be more excited as an adult TMNT fan. I also agree with some of my fellow fans that it would be cool if they either made this a direct follow up to the original 1990 movie or at the very least threw some fun Easter eggs from it in here. I will be keeping a very close eye on this for sure.

I really hope not, but I think they're scared of making the colorful normal 4 brothers into the gritty sewer killers they were meant to be. So they're only pushing the last Ronin due to the character design being different and the story being well known for it

My pick for the director for this EPIC story would have to be: Gareth Evans. He has directed both Raid films for those who aren't familiar with his work & he has the absolute talent to see this through. Also, this film should be split into 2 films as well. Now imagine the turtle fight sequences from the badass fight choreography team from those Raid films. Imagine. I just need to live that much longer now.

Sounds amazing. making it in the style of a horror/thriller sound amazing but i think it's important that it isn't actually a gory, bloody mess. the dark nature and emotive tones of the story should be what drive the 'dark' aspect of the film. though bringing in mechanical footsoldiers is a good call because the Last Ronins (no spoiling who it is) emotions should drive the aggression of his fighting style making it more adult themed that the previous films.

I've heard about the story, It was tragic. Since Leo and Casey Jones died in a explosion. (Which hurts me a bit seeing the leader die in a blaze of glory) Looking back at it, I thought about something. If there was a post page scene. After the smoke clears, everything was burnt to the ground, we see Casey Jones' Mask and Leonardo's body, until Leo's hand started twitching, then moving. He then weakendly opened his eyes, finishing the issue with a cliffhanger. As you could tell by the comment I just wrote, Leo somehow survived the explosion but Casey never made it. How would that effect the story? Let me know if you liked it. And reply, I like to know your thoughts about it.

I've always been a Transformers fan since seeing the first live action in 2007 and as much as people would probably hate it They need to do this mature stuff for Transformers too it's always been family friendly/for kids and even teens yes the animated Transformers One and the Transformers Gi Joe crossover are also coming out but still their gonna be family friendly i wanna see a serious and violent Transformers movie since i'm 21 now one storyline i came up with is where we see through the eyes of Optimus Prime during the war on Cybertron and Megatron is a gladiator and the decepticons are monsters following Megatron and they slaughter autobots that didn't make it to Earth for safety and people will understand in this movie why Optimus will become and is so violent and bloodthirsty i the other live action films it's like an r rated prequel to the bay films

I wish I could be excited. It just took too long to get here. I might miss this one. Being R rated doesn't = quality. Just because "dark & gritty", isn't enough. The writing has to be excellent and the visual interpretation must be market-ably attractive as well. (aka very cool looking, not ugly). I love judith oagh , i really do …best april ever ! But she is the big reason why Turtles went to those soft not dark characters! She didnt want that darknes and weapons , she was huge voice that made turtles more family friendly without weapons! We eating good Turtle bros. We recently got Mutant Mayhem, we're getting a sequel to that, plus a show. We're getting three games, one being a port of an arcade game, another game taking place in the Mutant Mayhem universe and the third is a Last Ronin game and now we're getting an R rated TMNT film based on The Last Ronin! We're getting a fourth game! A port of an IOS game coming to the Switch and later other platforms. It looks pretty good!
