IAS officers are under earning actually for the ability.A software engineer from an average college earns more per month than a civil service that too without the assured pension like in older days.Except the power in the position, IAS officers for there caliber are actually doing a service for the society.

Such brilliant person Dr. B Ashok..Unfortunately as he says Kerala has to get out of " Kerala Model Syndrom" to a more right of center Economic model and bring in more prosperity..About 60 lakh or about 20% people of Kerala are waiting for Rs 1600 per month pension ..Look at China and Vietnam .. We have to make our society more enterprenuurial..Government should be a facilitator ...real of ease of doing business has to happen and the fear of umions has to go in all sectors including bureucracy...Our bottom of pyramid people need to be lifted up more and faster ...
