This song never gets old to me. Always makes me think how many things change and how fast time goes by. You can't do anything but watch. We miss you Mr. Petty.

I was at his very last show at the Hollywood bowl on September 25th 2017 for my 12th birthday and it was one of the best experiences of my life and I’ve been to a lot of concerts. It even topped seeing Paul McCartney

" Let's play a bunch of shit we don't know" Classic Tom Petty humor, I will always love and miss you. I have loved your music since 1976 when I first heard you. RIP BROTHER

I love, after hearing the Wildflowers home recordings, the fact that Tom found a home for the chord progression/turnaround from the initial Wildflowers outtake. The man was so resourceful and let nothing go to waste.

Hi Tom, I'm also a lyricist. I write in English and German. But you were a poet. Thats something else. Did you ever notice how much people love ypu because you spoke from your heart to anybody's heart? That was a gift. Thanks for sharing it. When you died I cried like a very close friend had died. You're in my heart.🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

What is Awesome about this performance is when Benmont did the piano lead it would have led them back into the chorus but for whatever reason Tom did not go there and the band just went with it and Benmont played it off like a master and brought it home when they all played the chorus again. Truly a bunch of guys who can make it right when it does not go to plan. THAT is why I am a fan of the Heartbreakers>

One of my favorites and I finally put a cover of it on my page, which brought me to this video. This song is so darn good and it pulls at all the heart strings. It's also from one of the albums (Wildflowers... as he mentioned) that my parents had in our car growing up on all road trips in the early 1990's and later. So good!

So great! chuckling over Tom's comment in the beginning! :-) it's just so wonderful to be able to see a recorded LiVE performance of "It's good to find a friend!" ♡ What a special night this was for all of you who attended!

It is in Bb. Just like Wildflowers but a slightly difference of chord progression... I think there might be Dm Bb F C.

God, I hate when somebody stands in front of the camera so you cannot see the artist playing his instrument. As a guitar player, I wanna see what he’s doing.
