i lost two best friends 2 months ago. they cut me out of their lives. although it doesn't hurt me anymore, i thought i would make this video to vent about how i hope the best for them. i still miss them, and i always will. but that's just life. i can make new friends. i hope some of you can relate to this video as well.

My first ever best friend was like a sister to me and she finally made me feel like I wasn't alone. When we became friends, it became easier for me to make other friends because I didn't feel like an outcast anymore. We became a group of five against the world for almost four years. But then my best friend and our other closest friend started hanging out more and excluding the rest of us. My other two friends were always closer to each other than to the rest of us so they did their own thing, which left me as an awkward third wheel sitting quietly while MY BEST FRIEND practically ignored me and only now and then talked to me to correct me when I tried to contribute to the conversation. One day I went and sat with a friend of mine who has always been nice to me and saw something was wrong. I had known her best friend since 8th grade and we all spent the day laughing together. I felt bad about leaving my friends and not telling them where I went, but they didn't seem to care. When I tried explaining to them how I felt, they just stared at their phones. I stopped talking to them after that. It makes me mad to see how easily they just continued on without me while I had to remove all my photos from the last 4 years of my life from the walls as each one of them had them in it. It sucked. I have new friends now, but it still hurts because they were my first real friends.

I made the mistake of being vulnerable with my friends and telling them I was having suicidal thoughts. I hate the way you turned out to be, toxic etc.. but I can’t help but miss how much you impacted my life. I've always wished to have a best friend. The closest I've ever had was in kindergarten where I was really, really close friends with this girl there. She was soft and friendly and sensitive, and I was rowdy, energetic and impulsive. I remember accidentally hurting or scaring her or making her cry because I was too much to handle. I only remember those moments and I think a part of me believes it was my fault that she moved away, that she moved away from me all the way at the end of kindergarten. And since then I've had genuine difficulty forming emotional connections with people, to allow my walls to fall down if just for a moment to believe that I am lovable and that maybe people will like me enough to want to stay. I can relate to most of this. My best friend moved to billericay in early year six, only two weeks in ( *sad tunes*). We would text a lot, and call….. A LOT. Sometimes for almost two hours and we even had two sleepovers. Seems perfect, right? Wrong, she was talking about another sleepover for ages. Thing is, she had acted really weird during the sleepovers and my dad nor my mum wanted back again. So I told her in the nicest way possible. She was super confused and a bit upset. One day, during the weekend, my sister, dad, stepmom and I are all going to Lakeside shopping mall. I get a text, from this girl, stating “ don’t think we can be friends anymore, your parents hate me and we don’t see each other anymore.” My mind was blown. But from this point forward, I tried to talk it through with her but she was always really mean to me and I didn’t know why. One day, we got into a huge fight over text, we sat there for a while calling each other really rude names. But what happened next, I won’t forget. I am really angry at this point and I decide to blurt out something about her having mummy and daddy issues which I do totally regret btw so pls no hate. The, she comes with a voice message saying “ no, your mummy and daddy have problems with mOnEY. Who knows, you might end up of the street. Bye homeless loser!” So I sat there blocking her phone and crying for ages cause of what she said. Never talked to her since, don’t plan on doing so, her number is still blocked. Even though that it can be sad, it’s also very realistic because friendships from elementary school through high school almost always drift apart.
