one of the best pieces of advice i've ever heard about anxiety came from Bill, and it's to just acknowledge the nerves and the stress and to take the narrative out, saying "i'm anxious, this is me anxious." (rather than "i'm anxious because of..."). and he actually does this here 4:43 and i feel like that just adds to how much closer this makes us feel to him, that he's just like the rest of us.

Bill's swaying is an ironically nervous yet comfortable reaction. I do the exact same thing. And I just confronted my new roommate with him doing the same. Bill is so pure and in awe of his idol.

Rocking is a natural calming mechanism, hence rocking a baby to sleep, or a soothing 'rocking' in a car seat on a long drive. This being rocked back and forth can cause us to find solace and comfort in a gentle sway in our adult life. My roommate and I, both from different walks of life, notice that we both sway and rock ourselves out of comfort.

you don't really get the relationship between a comic and the person they make fun of and imitate, do you? it's one of Bill's favorite imitations, but he's not "fanning out" over him. It's akward because Keith isn't in on the joke, not because Bill is "finally meeting his idol." Bill's imitation makes fun of him - Get it?
