This Todd guy wreaked havoc of my Hawks back in the day. Guy was a BEAST!

I met him him 1983. I was only six he was a kind giant. I asked him if he was my dad as he had my last name and my stepfather did not. He laughed and said no I’m your uncle. “He was not” lol I received one ticket every year and got to see him every game. He gave me one of his practice jerseys. It swallowed me. That jersey hangs in my man cave today. This was a kind man. He needs to be honored in the HOF!!

TC's route running really jumps out at you in this clip. It's amazing to watch him run routes.

I say this as an Eagles fan so I have no bias or dog in this fight: Todd Christensen should be in the HoF. He put up modern TE numbers in the 1980's.

Besides Dave Casper I always thought Todd Christensen was one hell of a tight end I think Todd Christensen should be in the Hall of Fame along with Jim plunkett

I’m here bc this absolute legend led me to a championship run on all pro 2k8 , will gault had 1100 6 tds , Rob Moore had 850 10tds , Todd Christensen had 1800yds and 20 tds . Had Randall Cunningham at QB he won League MVP with 5k 40 TDS

That's awesome! That's a pretty fun game. I know some people to this day still prefer 2k to Madden as a football simulation.

@@werther83 yeah this game put me on a lot of old school players , Todd could’ve played in todays game and been on Kelce lever with his speed and route running

@@kenniceschaffer3561 Yeah, he was definitely on the cusp of the new age tight end. Kellen Winslow had a couple of seasons before Todd with 80+ catches, then Todd ripped off a string of 4 seasons with 80+. Todd was perhaps a little undersized as a tight end, but deceptively athletic (college running back). He also was good at the game, using his mind. He hated how the draft process emphasized every measurable, and would harp on that during his broadcasting career. He was less concerned with fractions of a second in a 40 time or reps on the bench press than he was with whether a person could play.
