5-Minute Toe and Foot Yoga for Balance and walking with Stability
This 5-minute yoga class is focused on increasing balance and strengthening your feet. We start with a warmup grabbing a wash cloth to build strength in the feet and toes. We do gentle movements, lifting the toes to work on nueral-plasticity. Then we use an exercise to feel the tripod of the foot: heel, big ball toe and baby ball toe. This will build the muscles in the foot. This yoga class will awaken the body and help you still the mind. Mindfully moving your body improves your mood, strengthens your body, and increases proprioception(knowing where your body is in space) and interoception(feeling internal bodily states). Bett brings fun and whimsy to her classes.
