I found Zhang Lei's part of this chapter fascinating. He's a level-headed and skeptical person by nature, but is now faced with the undeniable existence of the supernatural with his Guardian Spirit Beast. While he's clearly intelligent, he just doesn't have that mind-set for fantastical possibilities which Nen users need to bring their powers into fruition - "Hocus Pocus" as the manga translated it - so he just sees what's in front of him and engages in idle conjecture based on the obvious. I find it intriguing from the perspective of Nen as a power system, just seeing someone normal (from a real world perspective) look at it confusingly and pointing at it with a stick.

Remember that Sumidori shot himself (in Shikaku's body), after which Shikaku "died" for Benjamin to inherit the ability. However, Bisamilkov and Vict are still technically alive, even though their bodies are hijacked.

Here’s my theory. Benjamin’s spirit beast is an exorcist. We already saw it scare off Fugetsu’s curse. So I think Might (Halkenburg) will approach Benjamin to kill him, but Benjamin’s spirit beast will exorcise Halkenburg from Might’s body.

Maybe Ben's Guardian Beast will remove the possession. He hates fighting through deception so forcing his opponents to fight honestly may be what his Beast ensures. I'm gonna guess that the rule of the spirit beasts not being able to attack other princes might go out the window if they're in a different body. The Succession War is all about appearances, the Princes have to kill each other in ways that can't be traced back to them, killing Halkenburg while he's in someone else's body as self defense is certainly a way that can't be traced back to Benjamin. So I think it's a logical assumption that in that case his spirit beast would be able to act.

Not if his original prediction of the future is him not reading the letter. His ability makes it so people believe the original course of events his prediction makes. So if he used his ability and saw himself not read the letter because he just doesn't care, he can then choose to read the letter in with his nen ability, and everyone will still believe he never read the letter.

10:26 they can't "attack" princes but we've seen it can exorcise nen involving other princes like with the spirits following fugetsu so its likely that if halk gets to close to benjamin his gsb will exorcise his ability and halk will get returned to his body before he can kill balsamico and benjamin

Looking back, it seems there's a hint for Benjamin's spirit beast in the last chapter. When Fugetsu meets him, his spirit beast lets out a screech that looks like it may have blasted the spirits latching onto Fugetsu away. Maybe his spirit beast is sort of a nen exorcist that forces people to meet Benjamin one-on-one with no tricks/nen involved. It would fit Benjamin's character as a no nonsense, straight-to-business guy. This would also mean that Halkenburg's potential assassination attempt on him would be fruitless as when Might's body approaches Benjamin, Halkenburg's soul might be purged from his body.

The issue with Halkenbergs plan to take out Benjamin is if his arrow is directly as a result of his nen beast then it wouldn’t work against Benjamin, and even if it’s his own nen ability we still don’t know what Benjamin’s nen beast can do. Although maybe a nen beast countering another prince’s nen ability count as an attack and so the said nen beast wouldn’t do anything

Ops, if the 4th princes used parralel future for reading the letter and then didnt read it after releasing zestu, everyone else would just see him read the letter anyways. It's the other way around, he doesnt read it with parallel future but then he actually does, and nobody sees him doing it, althought It doesnt seem much of an advantage to me aswell, and It might end with revealing parallel future to the crowd if the effect doesnt cover the whole reading course
