Hi Peter, Australia is possibly starting to reduce some more of our restrictions on 7th May. So long as circumstances keep improving. Hang in there Peter. We are hoping to avoid a 2nd wave. International travel will be the last restriction lifted by later this year or next year.

Thank you again for getting me out of the house. The Japanese side of me understands the cultural community/herd mentality, but the American side is frustrated by the seeming lack of independent thought. Like why does it take a proclamation from PM Abe before people buy in to social distancing?

Frankly, even in a lot of the US, a lot of people didn't start actually taking much care till even optional things were made official. It may have saved a lot of lives in my town that they did, despite the governor and WHite House having been trying to get people to disregard precautions all along.

I wonder if the size of the unit has restricted GoPro’s ability to send a strong signal.

Hey man, if you want to go live on the streets, you need a device that alternates between differents internet operators(companies), you would also need different internet chips. This device will alternate you internet between the best signal of that area/region (there are even sides of a street where one company does not work as good as another) - people are doing this here in brazil (much worse cellphone internet signals)
@PetervonGommJAPAN4 жыл бұрын
hmmmm... interesting. Hadn't thought nor heard of that. Thanks! Do you know of a device name? Prob is GoPro simply has so many little bugs with it's Live Streaming set up. It's not only a signal issue. A large part of it I suspect is the youtube interface. I've done tests with Facebook live and it's better 'more reliable'. GoPro shows their demos with Fbook. Never seen with YT 'cause it doesn't work easily and reliably. Sad.

@@PetervonGommJAPAN Same guy, real name Alexi, channel/nick Noriyaro. He mostly covers the drifting scene but seems to know a lot about the tech and can stream stuff, but seems to have had to figure some things out about that. He fairly recently did a long livestream from Ebisu Circuit , which might be different from Tokyo, but worth a try, especially since you're both motorized. :)

3:90 Japan is not a small country. Honshu is bigger than the island of Britain and it is the 4th largest island country in the world and Japan has the rougly 8th largest exclusive economic zone. Germany is a bit smaller than Japan (land size). Germany is also not a small country at all, it has the largest economy in Europe and is the leading member of the EU.
