I was so lucky to see this performance live on a 2022 Christmas vacation to Japan. Worth every penny of the trans-Pacific airfare from the USA! Absolutely superb musicianship, and inspiring to see funk music interpreted so well across cultures. Thank you, Emi, MiMi, Rina, and guests!

Shinobu's Shamisen performance and stage presence adds extra sparkle to an already accomplished and very competent groove trio with Tokyo Groove Jyoshi. Let's hope that all 4 can get together again soon. They sure enjoy playing as a quartet.

東京groove女子は、結局、ジャンルは、JAZZになるのでしょうか！？ 若い女性が、世界を圧倒する本物のJAZZを演奏しているのに、心底驚きです。皆さんお若いのに、産まれてから短い時間で、どうしてこれだけの演奏が出来るのでしょうか！？👀 数10万～100万人規模の登録者を持つ、いわゆるピアノ系大物KZbinrなどは、超絶技巧とか言って一応アドリブしてても、どう聴いても素人の演奏にしか聴こえません。 groove女子のような本物のJAZZメンの演奏は、一瞬でプロの演奏と分かります。 不思議だなぁと思っています😶
