I noticed that while describing her father's behavior towards them having their periods nothing about it hinted towards any of the things she accused her boyfriend of. How did she get inappropriate sexual deviant stuff from not being allowed to mention it around her father. There are different methods of therapy (talking, hypnosis, the trauma-memory therapy with lights ( I can't think of the name, sorry) has good neuroscience behind it, & others...); also meditation and mindfulness practices can help with being present in the current moment and reacting to what is actually happening. Story 2: Demisexual means that there's just no attraction until a strong emotional attachment happens. A lot of people will say "well, isn't that most relationships" and - no. A guy can see a girl at a bar and say "oh, I'd like to take her home" and that is considered "normal". A demisexual person would not find any attraction until there's some kind of strong emotional relationship beforehand, so you may enter a relationship with a demisexual person and no sexual attraction may develop. Or it might. That's likely why the BF reacts the way he does: no attraction to the BFF as he has no real relationship with her.

Thank you! From a Demisexual, I find it hard to fully explain what I mean. “Isn’t that just a preference?” Well that would make asexuality, Homosexuality, etc… “just preferences” too. My first thought was "hey someone like me!"
@AraAra636712 күн бұрын
Agreed. Sexual and romantic attraction goes hand in hand with the emotional connection needed for demisexuals to be attracted to someone to begin with. For me, there’s no immediate notice of any attractive physical features, either conventional ones or personal preference. In fact, I tend to avoid looking at people too closely when I first meet them and have some measure of face blindness as a result.
