Parliament is making a show about Trudeau's mishandling of the trucker protest but that all it is really, a show. Just like with the US's own governmental issues, that everything is a charade, controlled by a third party; Canada is even further down that rabbit hole. These past few years Canada has made a real habit of spitting on it's own people's Charter of Rights. I bought his book of poetry and dissect it with my kids so they understand what they are hearing. Every line is a jumping point for so much history and current events learning. I even appreciate that Tom looks what might be considered "unacceptable" to many, because it breaks the mold on the fake perfectionism that we are being sold by so many others in the spotlight. And also, the farce that people who look a certain way believe one thing or another. It's great to see that he only gets better and digs deeper into self reflection and speaking truth over hard topics like alcoholism and pills. It's a vulnerable thing to share your mistakes in such an honest way. We have so many favorite songs in our house by this guy, but if you haven't heard "Fighter", it's amazing. He is one of the few greats of our time.

I am a 77 year old US Navy veteran. I first heard Tom a year ago, since then I have listened to all of your music. I am not a fan of rap per se, but the message you put out is something we all need to hear. Keep up your message. I am also not a republican or democrat, but consider myself a conservative and want this country return to its roots.
