@@jayenglish6631 Unfortunately tailoring missions to particular play styles is beyond what STO can do. The closest you get to that is the holodeck segments from "Of Bajor." It's sad that there are certain ships and weapons that play better from a range than close in like this, in particular the D'deridex and the Romulan heavy plasma torpedo. They should have offered a separate set of missions for those who wanted more of the wartime feel than the ones we got for both the Klingon War and the Iconian War.

You don’t need to spend any money! There’s several oppurtunities for better ships, and if you want to put in the effort doing dailies, you can easily get great equipment. I haven’t spent a single penny, and with a bit of help from my alliance, and some effort put in, I have a T6 Arbiter with the ship trait fully levelled up with some of the best equipment imo in the game, or at least good enough to destroy NPCs. But if is great fun, immerse yourself in the story and the role, and all will be well!
@patrikhjorth32914 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure why you feel overwhelmed, but the game occasionally gives you several missions at the same time, particularly when some of them have been updated. Most of the "seasons" also give you TFO missions which pop up when you reach a certain point. Your best bet is to check the "Episodes" tab in the journal, and try to take the missions in order. Take your time, don't rush, and remember that the TFO missions are optional. It's okay to wait until you feel like playing them. If you worry about gearing up, don't. Mission rewards should be enough until you reach max level, and even after that they will go a long way - particularly the gear sets you can get by repeating story missions.

They have three flavours that activate a move not unlike Evasive Maneuvres whenever you use a heal, tactical skill or control/drain skill. Weirdly I think Tom Paris is yet another example of the Rank Inflation you mentioned that the players suffered in STO. If you look closely at the more classic shows you find that most of the Starfleet Officers top out at some level of Commander. Which would probably be where Tom Paris would find his equilibrium. A respectable rank for the husband of a Captain and an Admiral's son. But his early career felonies would act to keep him permanently at that plateau, barring some spectacular act at time of war. He would probably be in a general role. I always picture him as the master of the Pilot School in Starfleet Academy. If they were going to bumb him up to Admiral, it should be at the end of the Iconian War. Not at the start.

Hey, i was thinking your next technology video you could try to explain just what the hell is Neutronium. Personally i think its an alloy made from the densly packed neutrons of a neutron star. This would explain its composition of being purely neutron based, while the density of neutron star matter would also explain its invulnerability to any and all known methods of attack. What is not known though is how things are constructed with it as it would be implied that anything that can be smelted or forged into something new should therefore be capable if being destroyed. And before anyone makes an adamantium comparison, adamantium can be destroyed by weapons made of Uru or Antarctic Vibranium.
