You forgot to mention that unlike all of the other Souls games, Dark Souls 2 is the only game that doesn't give you invinsibility frames when you open doors and the enimies don't return to their spawn location whenever you quit out to the main menu.

Might have something to do with Roll speed and how Binos lock you at a specific move speed. Could be that it mistakingly locks you at roll speed, even if you aren't rolling. Instead of you know, the forced walk speed when you're using binos. ^ this is all probably wrong but hey, that's my guess.

Moooost games will cap your forward velocity (lookin @ u super mario 64, note that I said FORWARD velocity lmao) but if it’s also setting a lower AND an upper limit of essentially the same number, that is entirely possible. Thus locking you into the roll velocity that you substitute for the walk velocity before the game has time to update that you have left the “using binoculars” state.

It’s weird how I had this video paused all day 5 minutes before you said that, and now I know why it didn’t close even though my phone closes sleeping apps automatically. I was falling asleep to this when 28:32 came by and I had to take a double take and go back a few times to listen to it. Never expected to hear those words out of a dark souls video I was trying to fall asleep to, but I was going through a heavily emotional and traumatic period as of late and it helped. Never seen this done in a video but damn, as someone going through it I can tell you at times videos like this are all I can watch to fall asleep and run away from the same emotions you refer to by keeping the brain busy enough till it passes out. I used to be very depressed and at the time, those kind words of encouragement didn't really mean much. Now that I've dug myself out of that dark hole, it truly hit how true those words are. Keep it up everyone.
