If you’re not from America, I’ll describe what is happening. In the US’s capital, there is a tomb that contains 3-4 bodies (they recently discovered the identity of one I think). The tomb and the bodies within represent those who have lost their lives fighting for the US and identity is unknown. If I remember correctly, these soldiers are marines. There is very strict tradition, if you look in each clip, black lines can be seen from the soldiers walking back and forth. They have shifts, but even if it’s a blizzard, flood, or tornado, they are required to stay and guard the tomb. (This job isn’t assigned, so people are made known what they are getting themselves into.)

With the water bottle they're taught to keep walking even if there is a chair in your way you will learn to walk through it before you stop your March

That imagery of the chair had me imagine the swing set in GTA IV that would launch anything or anyone if it comes in contact. Where the Sentinel walks up to the chair and the chair is suddenly flung elsewhere.

The soldiers chosen for duty to guard The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier take their job very seriously, as they should! It is considered a great honor for a soldier to be chosen for that duty. People need to respect the soldiers guarding that tomb, as well as what the tomb represents.

@@0IIIIII "This is America and we are a free nation." Absolutely. America is a free nation. However, you have no freedoms on a Military Installation. Arlington, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are attached to Fort Myer. Security is provided by Military Police. Depending upon the infraction, on a military base, you could be jailed in a Brig, and appear before a military court.

@@zachescarcega Good morning Xeravoid. you said; "they are absolutely loaded" ~During the changing of the guard, the guard charges (cocks) and discharges (pulls the trigger) his weapon 5 times *TO INSURE THAT IT IS NOT LOADED*. If it were loaded, he would have fired it 5 times ~During inspection, the Relief Commander, no only cocks and pulls the trigger twice, he looks down the barrel and points the weapon at visitors. No sergeant would ever INSPECT a loaded weapon ~In order to fire an M14, rounds must be fed through a 1"x4"x6" magazine. There is no magazine attached to the Tomb Guard's weapon.
