That experiment with the hospital cleaners reminded me of my experience of being a Gym Janitor in multiple locations (w/ Front Desk). I was probably the happiest gym janitor there because I was literally in a healthy environment where people were coming to better themselves and I enjoyed the fact that I could support that. And I made the choice that if I was to do janitorial work it would be at a gym for that reason. Not my purpose or passion at all (I’m a 3-Headed Artist and Digital Advertiser), but it definitely made my work more enjoyable. It’s actually when I first listened to Tom in 2017 via podcast while cleaning!

I really love the genuine praise Jay gives to Tom for the effort he puts into every interview. It really shows but the fact that Jay takes the time to explicitly share this with us shows how much he appreciates the effort.
