I bought my M20C last August, flew it from LA to Atlanta in about 13 hours. I can recommend a few upgrades for it to really add some speed.

I’ve got about 80 hours in a Mooney, I’ve flown/owned quite a few single engine general aviation planes. I can say with certainty if I had to choose an airplane to have to land with strong crosswinds the Mooney is my huckleberry

Poor N7482P has been in not one but two wheels up incidents. The first was in 1964 when the Pilot in Command failed to extend the gear. The second was in June 2022, when during approach into Auburn, the engine lost all power. The pilot opted for an emergency landing in a nearby field, and the landing gear collapsed after touchdown.
