You have to be a bowler to understand how much strength that takes to not injure yourself. 💯

@carllmack22872 жыл бұрын
No, the ball never crossed the foul line. It was a shot clock violation.
@shaunmcisaac7822 жыл бұрын
If you successfully grab the ball before it goes over the foul line it is not a shot. As Carl mentioned, you can be penalized for slow play which is mostly a thing in the pros rather than league or even low-level tournaments. (Shot clock violations typically just reduce cash prizes if you violate 2+ times.) The rule applies also if you drop it, throw it backwards, whatever. It doesn't have to go over "your" foul line to count against you however. A throw onto someone else's lane is a zero/foul/whatever.
@SlimJimJoey2 жыл бұрын
@@shaunmcisaac782 Touching a parallel wall to your lane (I.e. an end lane) after release of the ball into play is also a considered foul. I don’t see many observe this, though.

Should be scored a zero....he released the ball and it didn't hit anything.....different than if the ball didn't leave his hand....just my opinion. In addition if the squeaking is the reason he didn't roll his ball.....try becoming mentally tougher.
@brittbrown40122 жыл бұрын
Didn't cross the foul line therefore not a delivery.
@perfect11502 жыл бұрын
@@brittbrown4012 From that camera angle I'm not sure how you can claim the ball didn't cross the foul line, which BTW is only part of the requirement (by rule). The ball obviously left the bowler's possession. More likely than not the ball did cross the foul line into the playing territory. Leave it to bowling to have a stupid fucking rule....the rule should be very simple....ball begins movement towards the pins and leaves your possession....it's a delivery.

@@perfect1150 I don't think I've ever seen someone so confident when so profoundly wrong, and a ton of your body passes the foul line during delivery, part of your knee, your arms, head, and chest can all pass the foul line, but the rule of a foul has to do with touching the ground or any object past the foul line. you're the only person I've seen who has objected this rule, I actually thought you were joking at first because of how silly it was
@perfect11502 жыл бұрын
@@liambarron9772 Please show me the rule that states "a foul has to do with touching the ground or any object past the foul line". Besides, we're not discussing a "FOUL" here...we're discussing a delivery.....Talk about someone who is so confident when so profoundly wrong....I'll wait for you to show me the rule that supports your analysis.
@Orenji7492 жыл бұрын
@@perfect1150 he is a pro bud. Not sure what the fuck you are but nothing important I know that much. I think his mental toughness is fine, and his resume can vouch for that. “A foul occurs when a part of the player’s body encroaches or goes beyond the foul line and touches any part of the lane, equipment or building during or after a delivery. A ball is in play after a delivery until the same or another player is on the approach in position to make a succeeding delivery.” Maybe do the 5 second google search and not look like a pompous ass next time.
