Love the work outs. I've done couple others but yours is simple and to the point. Very nice flow. Feeling the sweat. I managed to do 3 days of this series without getting board or irritated. The 30 min go past so fast.

LOVE your workouts. So many on KZbin seem aimed at competition body builders , but I can follow your work outs. Also there are exercises you struggle with, so you seem more human. I'm on week one, and I'll go for all 6. Thanks from Texas!

@@TomPetoTraining ok brother, I like to think I'm in decent shape (when I was active duty, I frequently ran some of my 20 yo soldiers into the ground. That said, the half side plank is a killer! 🫣😄

Love your workoute Sir! I used my bench even for biceps cause you can't use your body tp cheat! My weights were 12 my lightest 15'''s and 20's not bad for a 70 year old granny!I'm from Washington State! see you tomorrow!

Hi Tom. Love this 7 day series, completed a couple of 6 week loops and they have made a real difference. Was considering the 12 week dumbell e book, could you tell me how long the 4 workouts contained within it take?

Each workout is about 45-60min long. You gets sets / reps / tempo / clickable video demo for exercises. The program has a periodised rep scheme for optimal strength and muscle development starting with moderate reps and moderate weights and working towards heavier weight and lower rep ranges as weeks progress. I’ve followed a similar plan/rep scheme to the E-books I’ve created for a few years still making progress 👍🏼 Hope that helps

That was great! Looking forward to trying out the seven-day dumbbell series. Thank you! One question: when doing the lunge in this workout, should the muscle tension be on the leg in the front or the leg going back or shared evenly between both? Thanks!

I’d say in a reverse lunge your majority weight should still be on the front leg/foot (the one with both heel and ball of foot still in contact with floor). Great, let me know how you get on with the other workouts in my 7 day series. 💪🏼

Started here. Went back to day 1. Now I'm back to day 2. Looking forward to stretching on day 3. Those reverse lunges and those half-plank abductor leg raises are my weakness. I'll have to keep coming back to this. Thanks for this methodical and thorough guide. And I'm tuning in from California, since your video asked.

Hi Tom, thanks for the workouts! Just wondering, are the deadlifts for stretching or strengthening hamstrings?

To work a muscle it’s best to stretch it and contact it with full range of motion. So deadlifts are primarily to strengthen but if done with a good ROM you can still get flexibility benefits
