I would have thought that coupler would be stuck on that pipe like an Alabama tick after hitting it with a hammer. I'd rather use a round file and file it down inside

My missus spends an eternity filing and polishing and painting her bloody nails. I spend a few minutes occasionally filing off the internal stops on end feed socket couplers. If you buy specific slip couplers they either get lost or mixed in with std sockets. I put them in my end feed fittings box on a short length of 15mm as a direct go to.

Hello Loafer Sheffield. I tend to put some string through my slip couplers, good way to keep them apart from the normal couplers

Nice tip Tom , I usually just use a rat tail file and file out the ridge in the coupling works just as good and you can slide it up and down much easier......👍 Ps.....I prefer you in the tavern showing your tips as it makes me feel at home.......😜 Cheers tom .

That's what I've always done. Usually pre prep a few and slide on a short section of tube in my ef box so they don't get mixed in with other std sockets
