We don't wrap our headstocks in bubble wrap or ship guitars with tremolo arms installed. Hey there, I picked the guitar up from Chicago Music Exchange. I did think it was funny that the bar was installed. I've owned two other suhrs and they didn't come that way. I even mentioned in the video, "I'm looking for the bar". I'm guessing this one was sitting on the floor before I bought it because it didn't come in a suhr box, but rather a "proud seller on reverb.com box".The fret protector turned out to be behind the guitar. Either way, it's a stellar guitar. Like I said H.W. is a big fan of your stuff!

I've watched this way too many times and it kills me. I purchased my Suhr JM Pro in gold with the S90's and the trem as well about 7 months ago and still waiting for it to come in. Watching this only makes my heart yearn longer.

@@F0XxX98 It did! Took over a year (and even then they at first shipped the wrong guitar and we had to get that sorted out), but I did eventually get it (and have since sold it). It was a great guitar!

I never wanted a jazzmaster, but really wants a Suhr JM!. I recently bought a T Style Mateus Asato, my first Suhr, I’m delighted, amazing feeling and sound! I had to sell my PRS to buy this one, don’r regret it!. Good luck with the desision!.

awesome video! I just purchased my first Suhr, and I am 100% a Suhr addict for life. You mentioned in the video that you would be changing the 10s the guitar comes with. Just wondering if you go up or down in gauge on that guitar? Thanks and really hope you keep making these awesome videos.

Thanks for the kind words Michael. I usually go down to 9's on fender scale (25.5) instruments and 10's on Gibson scale (24.75) instruments. But sometimes I break the rules. :) I'll keep the videos coming. In fact next video is going to be a very cool Suhr Heavy Antique HSH classic strat!

Hi there, curious as to how you find the tuning stability to be on the JM Pro with the 510 "trem" compared to both a hardtail and other tremolo styles such as a Bigsby or the Fender offset vibrato? Thanks in advance!

If I had to give a number the 510 is 10000000000000% better. No really though the bigsby and the jazz master vibrato are among some of the lowest performing vibrates. They are vintage designs and not known for their stability. Nothing sounds and feels like a bigsby. They are cool but there are lots of trend more stable. I have 4 suhrs with the 510 and except for a Floyd rose it's the most stable I've played. I always recommend suhrs with terms because they are set up so well!

Yes, seriously. Superb materials and construction. I have 4 Suhrs, three with gig bags and one with HSC - I'd take the gig bag over the case any day. Way more practical.
