so, you WANT the diaphragm inline with the internal x brace? it seems that would be the most rigid area and less flex. .

just re string it at the same time..much easier

I heard somewhere that the guitar need to have a FLAT back? I happen to have a handbuilt acoustic with a pretty curved back, will it still work?

Nice video - one problem. ToneWood supplies the measurements for each type of acoustic guitar. For example - Dreadnaught has one measurement from the end of the guitar while Concert has another. It's not supposed to be eyeballed and guessed at.

HAY: IF YOU ARE OFF BY A 1/4 IN. OR SO. WOULD THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE? IT'S FUNNY THAT YOU MENTION MEASUREMENTS, OUT OF ALL THE INSTALL VIDEO'S NOT ONE PERSON USED A TAPE OR RULER ???
